STIFFENING ELEMENT FOR WORKSTATIONS WITH A TURNTABLE
A stiffening element for workstations with a turntable includes at least one fixed-base machining station which is provided with at least one respective tool and a turntable which is provided with at least one radial arm for supporting at least one respective clamping assembly for at least one workpiece to be machined. The element includes at least one fixed frame arranged radially and aligned with a corresponding machining station, for supporting, at its terminal end that lies below the trajectory of the at least one respective clamping assembly, a temporary restraining component for corresponding temporary restraining elements which are complementary thereto and integral with at least one respective clamping element.
Low-rigidity workpiece machining assistance system
A machining assistance system for assisting a machining apparatus includes: a workpiece supporting force generating unit, which generates workpiece supporting force against machining reaction force that is exerted on a machining portion of a workpiece by a working tool; a supporting device, which moves the supporting force generating unit while supporting the supporting force generating unit; and a workpiece supporting force control device, which controls operation of the workpiece supporting force generating unit and operation of the supporting device based on machining reaction force related data related to the machining reaction force and machining position related data related to a machining position of the working tool, such that the workpiece supporting force generating unit exerts the workpiece supporting force on the workpiece against the machining reaction force.
TUBULAR MARKING APPARATUS
A marking apparatus for placing a visible marking on a tubular surface at a desired location on its circumference. The marking apparatus can have a base, a guide for aligning a tubular, and a frame securing one or more markers. The marker can place a visible marking on the tubular when the tubular is passed through the frame.

AIR REST BUTTON
An air rest button system comprising a body element and a plunger element configured to accept a rest button. The plunger element generally is configured to be inserted into a base in the top of the body element. The plunger element in turn has a bore or hole therein configured to receiving an air rest button, which may be substituted for other air rest buttons, facilitating the modularity of the present system.

SPINDLE APPARATUS FOR USE AT A MACHINE TOOL, IN PARTICULAR A LATHE, AND MACHINE TOOL WITH SUCH SPINDLE APPARATUS
A spindle apparatus for use at a machine tool, in particular a lathe, has: a spindle assembly including a workpiece spindle to receive an elongated workpiece and a spindle motor for driving spindle rotation; and a rotary guide-bush assembly axially arranged with the workpiece spindle, the rotary guide-bush assembly including a rotary guide-bush to receive the elongated workpiece and supported at the rotary guide-bush assembly to rotate with the elongated workpiece received in the workpiece spindle about the axis while enabling a movement of the elongated workpiece in the axial direction. The spindle and rotary guide-bush assemblies connect to each other by a torque transferring connection, between the spindle and rotary guide-bush assemblies along the axis to transfer driving torque during acceleration or deceleration of the spindle rotation driven by the spindle motor to the rotary guide-bush of the rotary guide-bush assembly.
Actuating device for a steady rest
An actuating device (10) actuates jaws (12) of a steady rest (11). The jaws can be used for clamping or supporting a workpiece (13). The actuating device includes a carrier (18) with a mounting side (20) to which the steady rest (11) can be mounted. An outer end (27b) of an actuating part (27) projects away from the mounting side (20) of the carrier (18) and includes a connecting arrangement (29) as the interface for the connection with an input part (14) of the steady rest (11). An inner end (27 c) of the actuating part (27) is movably coupled with a piston (35) of a pneumatic cylinder (36) via a coupling arrangement (34). The coupling arrangement 34 includes a slide (40) that is immovably connected to the piston (35), said slide having on it at least one slotted gate (44). The slotted gate (44) defines a gate path oriented obliquely to longitudinal direction L and to height direction H, along which gate path the at least one gate element (46) can be guided in a movable manner. The gate element is connected to the inner end (27c) of the actuating part (27).
