SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MOUNTING A GRINDER/POLISHER SAMPLE HOLDER
Example systems and methods of a system for mounting a grinder/polisher sample holder are provided. The system includes a platform having one or more fasteners, upon which one or more mounting fixtures are arranged and mounted. The one or more mounting fixtures are configured to secure a sample holder in place for testing of the samples, such as a hardness test. One or more of the mounting fixtures may include mounting brackets to support the sample holder, and to fix an orientation and/or position of the sample holder. In examples, the mounting fixtures have interfaces to contact and support the sample holder when the sample holder is arranged within the system.

Example systems and methods of a system for mounting a grinder/polisher sample holder are provided. The positioning system includes: a positioning apparatus, including a positioning table to support a workpiece; and a clamping apparatus, including a turntable, where the turntable is fixedly disposed on a periphery of the positioning table, a top of the turntable is connected to a mechanical arm, a pressure plate is disposed at an end of the mechanical arm, and the pressure plate is capable of cooperating with the positioning table to clamp the workpiece, where there are a plurality of clamping apparatuses, working regions of adjacent clamping apparatuses have an intersection, and working regions of all the clamping apparatuses are capable of covering a machining surface of the workpiece; and when machining is performed in an intersection region, a clamping apparatus corresponding to the region clamps the workpiece, and when machining is performed in a non-intersection region, a clamping apparatus corresponding to the region dodges, and an adjacent clamping apparatus clamps the workpiece.

The bed has three tracks being respectively a first track, a second track, a third track arranged in order. The headstock assembly is connected to the bed, and is located near one of two ends of the second track. The at least one supporting assembly is mounted on one of the three tracks and is used for supporting the cylindrical workpiece. The at least one machining assembly is mounted on one of the three tracks, is slidable along the track, and is located on a position at a spaced interval from the at least one supporting assembly.

A complex machine tool for cylindrical workpieces has a bed, a headstock assembly, at least one supporting assembly, and at least one machining assembly. The bed has three tracks being respectively a first track, a second track, a third track arranged in order.
