Circular saw cutting machine
10576562 · 2020-03-03 · ·

A circular saw cutting machine (1) includes a machine main body (10), an articulated robot (60), and a cutter stocker (70). A circular saw (5) is secured and interposed by a cutter clamp cylinder (CYL21) between a front end face (32) of the main spindle (21) and a cutter presser piece (50) with pins (33, 51) inserted in pin insertion holes (5b). When removing the circular saw (5), a hydraulic is switched over to cause the cutter clamp cylinder (CYL21) to perform unclamping so that the cutter presser piece (50) can be pulled out of the main spindle (21). When the articulated robot (60) performs cutter change, a main spindle motor (M10) and a brake (25) are controlled based on the rotation angle detected by a spindle stop position sensor (SE10) to stop the main spindle (21) in a predetermined home angle condition.

A portable cutting table, with SLIDE, and a TABLE, an adjustable BACKPLATE to support material being cut, and a BASE, all which support a JIG SAW, mounted upside down on the SLIDE, to allow easy control of cutting to Molding, Millwork, Stair Edging, angled cuts, with easy control of motor/blade speed, and easy visibility of cutting markings on the material being worked upon.

Machining table
11897070 · 2024-02-13 ·

A method and apparatus to provide a machining table in which an article can be secured to the table. The table provides a plurality of clamp blocks which can be placed on the table in custom positions. The orientation of the clamp blocks can also be adjusted by adjustments bolts so that the desired angle of the article can be maintained before machining it. As such, a round article (e.g., a pipe) can be secured through the clamp blocks so that the article can be machined. The table would secure the article such that even a lot of force or pressure on the article would not cause the article to move.

Grid-type workpiece carrier

Provided is a tool holder or workpiece holder (100, 200) for coupling a tool to a drive spindle of a machine tool, said holder comprising a tool holding or workpiece holding section (110, 210) on which a clamping means (111, 211) for holding the tool is arranged, and comprising a coupling section (120, 220) for coupling to a tool interface (150, 160, 250, 260) of the drive spindle of the machine tool, in which the coupling section (120, 220) is configured as suitable for coupling both to a tool interface (150, 250) for receiving tool holders or workpiece holders that comply with a first standard and to a tool interface (160, 260) for receiving tool holders or workpiece holders that comply with a second standard.

Support block for board cutting
10478993 · 2019-11-19 · ·

A carpentry block is provided to support a remote end of a board or work piece to be cut with a table saw or chop saw. The block has a triangular body which can be positioned on any base to define three different heights to support the remote work piece end. The block can also be positioned on the one end to define a fourth height for work piece support. An extension member can be added to the block to provide additional heights with the block, the outer end of the work piece is level with the saw table, thereby assuring an accurate cut of the work piece by the saw blade.

The fixed seat has a bottom surface and a plurality of grooves formed in the bottom surface. The magnetic unit includes a plurality of magnet blocks fixed respectively in the grooves and adapted to be magnetically positioned on the machine bed. The at least one ejection unit is mounted on the fixed seat, and includes an operating member and a supporting member. The operating member is operable to move the supporting member from a first position, where a bottom end of the supporting member is flush with the bottom surface of the fixed seat, to a second position, where the bottom end of the supporting member protrudes out from the bottom surface of the fixed seat.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FIXTURE FORM-CLOSURE DETERMINATION FOR PART MANUFACTURING WITH THE AID OF A DIGITAL COMPUTER

Automated fixture layout is approached in two distinct stages. First, the spatial locations of clamping points on the work piece are determined to ensure immobility of the fixtured part under any infinitesimal perturbation. Second, spatial locations are matched against a user-specified library of reconfigurable clamps to synthesize a valid fixture layout or configuration that includes clamps that are accessible and collision free. The spatial locations matching during the second stage can be the same spatial locations chosen in the first stage to ensure immobility, or a different set of spatial locations.
