The present invention relates to a system, an apparatus and a method for providing tools on a machine tool. The system includes a first tool magazine for accommodating a plurality of tools; a first feeding device which is adapted to remove tools from the first tool magazine and feed them to the spindle; at least one second tool magazine for accommodating a plurality of tools; a second feeding device which is adapted to remove tools from the second tool magazine and provide them at a predetermined transfer position; and a transfer apparatus which is adapted to feed tools removed from the second tool magazine to the first tool magazine, with the result that the second tool magazine serves as a supply magazine for the first tool magazine.

A method for machining a workpiece includes using a multi-axis robot to lift a tool head from a magazine. The robot attaches the tool head to an end of a drill tube. The drill tube is then rotated and longitudinally translated to machine the workpiece. The tool head is withdrawn from the machined workpiece longitudinally by moving the drill tube. The robot is used to disconnect the tool head, replace the disconnected tool head into a magazine and withdraw a different tool head from the magazine for attachment to the drill tube.

Provided is a tool changing apparatus and method capable of easily and safely changing various tools usable for a table device or a pickup device of an equipment depending on materials such as semiconductor chips or semiconductor packages, the tool changing apparatus including a target tool detachably mountable on an equipment depending on a type or size of semiconductor chips or semiconductor packages, and a coupling device mounted between the equipment and the target tool to detachably fix the target tool to the equipment, wherein the coupling device includes a stud mounted on the target tool or the equipment, and a clamping module mounted in the equipment or the target tool to clamp the stud.

A machine tool includes a rotatable spindle, a spindle drive, a tool magazine, a tool changer including a rotating shaft, a rotating shaft drive motor, an angular position detector, a tool change arm having gripping units at both ends, and a controller. The invention relates to a fiber-forming system (100) comprising at least a molding station (20) according to the invention, a preforming station (30) according to the invention and a hot-pressing station (40) according to the invention for producing a formed part (10) from environmentally-friendly-degradable fiber material (11) by means of a fiber-forming process executed in the fiber-forming system (100), wherein the fiber-forming system (100) is designed to enable an automatic change of tools (2, 3, 400, 40u) from the molding station (20), preforming station (30) and or hot-pressing station (40). The invention also relates to such a molding station (20), preforming station (30) and hot-pressing station (40) and a corresponding method (200) for automatically changing tools in the fiber-forming system (100).
