A particle suction nozzle including a body that has a suction mouth as well as at least a portion of a fastening system designed to link the nozzle to a support. The fastening system has at least one tubular insert made of elastically deformable material rigidly connected to the body and designed to be fitted onto a linking element rigidly connected to the support, and once fitted, to be immobilized in relation to the linking element and at a distance from the support. A suction device includes the suction nozzle.

DRILLING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USING SAME
20170368655 · 2017-12-28 · ·

A drilling apparatus comprising: at least one bit; a vacuum shroud, including a compressible boot, disposed around a longitudinal axis of the apparatus and configured to be in operative communication with a vacuum attachment port; and at least one magnetic element disposed near a distal end of the apparatus and configured to attract metallic debris resulting from drilling apparatus operation.

Drilling safety system
09849553 · 2017-12-26 ·

The present disclosure describes and teaches a drill safety system including a magnetic unit, a vacuum unit, and an improved hole saw drill set. The various parts of the drill safety system may be used individually or in combination with one another. The user may use the magnetic unit to surround the drilling site so that metal drill shavings on the drill surface may be collected by the magnetic unit. In addition, the magnetic unit includes a flippable top mechanism, allowing convenient disposal of the debris. The vacuum unit is fitted to the inner surface of the drilling site, collecting debris that fall through. The improved hole saw prevents over-penetrating by the drill, reducing the likelihood of damaging equipments underneath the drill site. This makes the drill particularly suitable for drilling holes during electrical work.

Systems and methods for real-time monitoring of micromilling tool wear

The wear status of a micro-endmill tool may be inferred by monitoring the chip production rate of the tool in operation. Chips may be extracted from a work area, captured on an adhesive surface, imaged, and counted to determine the chip production rate. When the rate of chip production falls, the feed rate of the micro-endmill may be increased to a level suitable for the current state of tool wear. In this manner, costly and inconvenient work stoppages to evaluate the wear status of a tool are eliminated.

Method and apparatus for milling boards and flattening slabs
11685076 · 2023-06-27 · ·

The present disclosure provides an apparatus, method and kit to flatten wide boards with an apparatus. The apparatus comprises two sets of rails, one set spanning laterally and the second set spanning longitudinally. The second set of rails is operative to move along the first set of rails by use of short members attached to the second set that interface with the first set of rails. Then, a carriage is operative to sit on top of the second set of rails and move along them. This is done by the carriage arms engaged on the second set of rails.

DUST COLLECTOR AND POWER TOOL
20170355053 · 2017-12-14 · ·

A dust collector includes a main body, a sliding part, and a communication passage. The main body includes an internal region disposed between a power tool and a dust storing region. The sliding part is held by the main body so as to be slidable in a first direction while partly protruding out of the main body through an opening and partly disposed in the internal region. The communication passage extends in a second direction crossing the first direction within the internal region. When the sliding part is placed at a closest position, a distance in the first direction between the opening and an innermost end of the sliding part is longer than a distance between the opening and the communication passage. The sliding part includes an interference avoiding part configured to avoid interference with the communication passage when the sliding part is placed at the closest position.

BLAST GATE FOR VACUUM SYSTEM
