A control unit of a CNC device includes an interlocking function of disabling the unlocking mechanism while an automatic pallet changer is driven, and a safety control function of prohibiting, based on a detection signal from the door opening/closing detection device, a drive unit of the automatic pallet changer from being driven while the stock shelf access door is in the opened state.

In a method for controlling an electric machine tool having an electric motor for driving a rotating insertion tool, the electric machine tool is operated in one of multiple operating modes, and at least one parameter of the machine tool is detected. The instantaneous operating state of the electric machine tool is ascertained and evaluated based on the detected parameter. A protective function is activated when the presence of a critical operating situation is recognized during the evaluation of the instantaneous operating state. The instantaneous operating mode of the electric machine tool is detected, and the evaluation of the instantaneous operating state is adapted in each case to the instantaneous operating mode.

A chip conveyor includes: a cover body; a guide plate configured to guide chips, which are conveyed inside the cover body, so as to be directed from a chip receiving position toward a chip discharging position; a case attached to the cover body and having an internal space provided therein; and a float switch configured to detect, based on a coolant flowing from inside the cover body into the internal space, that a liquid level of the coolant inside the cover body is equal to or greater than a prescribed liquid level. The cover body includes a first space and a second space that are partitioned from each other by the guide plate. The cover body is provided with: a first opening allowing communication between the first space and the internal space; and a second opening allowing communication between the second space and the internal space.

The detection module is capable of detecting that a first circuit between the power terminal and the battery pack is in a power-on mode or a power-off mode. The controller is capable of controlling a second circuit between the power terminal and the motor to be in a power-on mode or a power-off mode. When the detection module detects that the first circuit is switched from the power-on mode to the power-off mode, the controller controls the second circuit to be in the power-off mode within a first preset time.
