A tool post movement region one-side-closing cover part (9) for closing a tool post movement region open part (8) is configured so as to be: capable of expanding and contracting in a horizontal movement direction of a tool post (3); arranged facing the tool post (3); elongated by urging means (10) to press against the tool post (3) in a relatively slidable manner and close the tool post movement region open part (8); expanded and contracted by movement of the tool post (3) to hold the tool post movement region open part (8) in a closed state; and provided unconnected to the tool post (3) so that the tool post (3) is relatively slidable with respect to the tool post movement region open part (8) is held in a closed state.

Provided is a vertical machining center including: a splash cover fixed to a base, the splash cover defining a machining chamber to enclose a machining zone; a column vertically standing on the base; a Z-axis guiding rail disposed on the column and being vertically directed toward the base, the Z-axis guiding rail partially exposed to the machining zone; a Z-axis driving device disposed in the column, the Z-axis driving device partially exposed to the machining zone; a spindle head to be driven vertically by the Z-axis driving device; a spindle head opening formed in the splash cover so that the spindle head can pass through the spindle head opening; and an extendable cover provided between an edge of the spindle head opening and the spindle head and configured to cover parts of the Z-axis guiding rail and the Z-axis driving device, the parts being exposed to the machining zone.
Protective Cover Having An Installaton Aid
A protective cover having at least one protective-cover element adjustable in length and having at least one frame element, the protective-cover element adjustable in length having at least one holding means, the frame element having a first longitudinal edge, and at least one fastening means being disposed at the first longitudinal edge, and the holding means and the fastening means being connectable in a detachable manner, in particular a force-fitting and/or form-fitting manner. An installation aid is disposed on the fastening means, the installation aid comprising a positioning edge and a guide edge, and the positioning edge and the guide edge essentially being opposite edges at the installation aid.
Machine tool
A machine tool according to the present invention is provided with a door opening/closing device including a movable door, a door opening/closing drive motor configured to drive the movable door, a power transferring mechanism configured to transfer power of the door opening/closing drive motor to the movable door. The machine tool includes a disturbance torque estimation unit configured to estimate a disturbance torque applied to the door opening/closing drive motor at an opening/closing operation of the movable door, a torque comparison unit configured to compare the disturbance torque estimated by the disturbance torque estimation unit to a predetermined first upper limit and a predetermined first lower limit, and a motor stop unit configured to stop the opening/closing operation of the movable door when the torque comparison unit determines that the disturbance torque is larger than the first upper limit or smaller than the first lower limit.
Machine Tool
The machine tool has a machine bed (10) having a first horizontal linear guide (1) and a second horizontal linear guide (2) arranged at right angles to the first linear guide (1). On the first linear guide (1) is arranged, in an axially displaceable manner, a workpiece clamping fixture (3), which is swivelable about a swivel axis (4) oriented parallel to the second linear guide (2) and is rotatable about a rotation axis (5) oriented at right angles to the swivel axis (4). On the second linear guide (2) a toque motor driven swivel arm (6) is axially displaceable, the swivel axis (7) of which is arranged parallel to the first linear guide (1) and which on its free end bears a tool spindle (8), the axis (9) of which is oriented parallel to the first linear guide (1).
TELESCOPIC COVER AND MACHINE TOOL
To provide a telescopic cover having a structure in which a stopper is easy to be exchanged, and a machine tool. A telescopic cover of a machine tool is formed to be freely expandable and contractible in a predetermined direction. A first cover piece and a second cover piece have a pair of receiving side stoppers that project outward in both ends of side surfaces along a predetermined direction, and slits formed along the predetermined direction in between the pair of receiving side stoppers, as receiving side cover pieces. The second cover piece and the third cover piece have nesting side stoppers that are inserted into the slits by projecting outward in the side surfaces along the predetermined direction, and move between the pair of receiving side stoppers as nesting side cover pieces.
BLADE MOUNTING AND DISMOUNTING JIG, BLADE MOUNTING AND DISMOUNTING METHOD, BLADE EXTRACTING METHOD, AND CUTTING APPARATUS
A blade mounting and dismounting jig is provided for mounting a blade on and dismounting a blade from a flange of a cutting apparatus which includes a boss, a blade mount for mounting the blade fitted thereover, the flange having an annular end face for supporting the blade thereon and being fixed to a distal end of a spindle, and a holder that cooperates with the flange in gripping and securing the blade in position. The blade mounting and dismounting jig includes a cylindrical jig body, a grip coupled to the jig body and having a diameter larger than the jig body, a plurality of first air ejection ports defined in a distal end portion of the jig body, a plurality of second air ejection ports defined in the jig body at a juncture between the jig body and the grip.
WORK CELL AND LASER-MACHINING CENTRE EQUIPPED WITH SUCH CELL
Described herein is a work cell for machining operations carried out via a laser head, the work cell including:at least one working area (20, 40) designed to 5 receive the pieces on which to carry out laser machining; and a lateral covering (60) and a top covering configured for separating at least partially said working area from the outside.10 The work cell is characterized in that:it comprises an internal divider (18) that defines, together with said lateral covering, a first working area (20) and a second working area (40) separated from one another by said divider; and 15 said top covering (22) is selectively mobile between a first position over said first working area (20) and a second position over said second working area (40).
Machine tool
A machine tool capable of restraining dirt on the footstool and improving setup efficiency. The machine tool includes a machine body having a splash guard surrounding a machining area and a door capable of closing an opening of the splash guard. A footstool is kept mounted on the machine body changeably in place with respect to the machine body. The footstool kept mounted on the machine body is capable of being in a place on an outside of the machine body when the door is closed. The footstool kept mounted on the machine body is capable of being brought to a setup place inside the machining area from the outside of the machine body through the opening when the door is open.

First and second V-shaped link structures are arranged in an overlapping manner such that a first fixed pin and a second fixed pin of the first V-shaped link structure are positioned relative to a movable pin to one side with respect to the direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of a guide rail while a first fixed pin and a second fixed pin of the second V-shaped link structure are positioned relative to a movable pin to the side opposite to that in the first V-shaped link structure.
