Cooling attachment for a work machine
20240278372 · 2024-08-22 · ·

A cooling attachment can be releasably fastened to a work machine, which has a shaft in which a rod-like tool is guided with a rotary or hammering action and exits the shaft at a free end. The cooling attachment has a housing that encloses the work machine and in particular the shaft thereof and the tool that exits it, the latter only partially. Formed within the housing is a first cooling channel for conducting a coolant from an inlet opening to the tool exiting the free end of the housing shaft. In order to improve the cooling of the tool without cooling the workpiece to be machined, at least one connecting hole is provided, at the free end of the housing shaft, between the first cooling channel and a second cooling channel, in order to divert the coolant from the first cooling channel into the second cooling channel.

Power-tool cooling apparatus

A power-tool cooling apparatus for a portable power tool comprises at least one cooling unit configured to generate a cooling fluid flow to cool a drive unit of the portable power tool, and at least one further cooling unit configured to generate a further cooling fluid flow. The at least one further cooling unit is designed to differ from the at least one cooling unit.

CRYOGENIC MACHINING PROCESS USING NANOFLUID

A machining process includes providing a cutting tool having a rake face and a flank face; bringing the cutting tool into contact with a metal alloy work piece to form a chip by penetrating the cutting tool into the workpiece; and introducing a nanofluid into a vicinity of the penetration to remove heat and, in some instances, customize the finished surface. The nanofluid includes a mixture of a cryo-liquid and nanoparticles having a maximum size of approximately 0.1 nanometers to approximately 100 nanometers.

FILTRATION DEVICE
20180280841 · 2018-10-04 · ·

A filtration device has a primary conveyer tank which is equipped with a first conveyer, a primary drum filter which rotates inside the primary conveyer tank, a secondary conveyer tank which is equipped with a second conveyer and a secondary drum filter which rotates inside the secondary conveyer tank. Liquid in the primary conveyer tank passes through a first opening to flow into the secondary conveyer tank. Clean liquid flowing into a first clean tank is supplied to a low-pressure-side supply system by a first pump. Super-clean liquid having been filtered by the secondary drum filter passes through a second opening to flow into a second clean tank, and then is supplied to a high-pressure-side supply system by a second pump.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MACHINE TOOL

A temperature control system for a machine tool is equipped with a first temperature control device configured to control the temperature of gas supplied to a gas bearing, a second temperature control device configured to control the temperature of a room interior and to issue a notification of its own operation state to the outside, a gas supply section configured to supply gas whose temperature has been controlled by the first temperature control device, and a gas supply control section configured to perform the gas supply control of the gas supply section so that gas is distributed to both of the gas bearing and an interior space, when receiving the notification that the operation state of the second temperature control device is abnormal.

Structure for reducing thermal displacement of machine tool structure

The present disclosure relates to a structure for reducing thermal displacement of a machine tool structure, and more particularly, to a structure for reducing thermal displacement of a machine tool structure capable of reducing thermal displacement of a structure in order to prevent processing precision from deteriorating due to deformation of a fixed structure by heat generated at a part where the fixed structure and a movable structure perform frictional motion together with each other. Accordingly, in order to resolve a technical problem, an object of the present invention is to provide a structure for reducing thermal displacement of a machine tool structure capable of preventing a structure from being deformed and distorted by reducing a temperature deviation over the entire structure by rapidly transferring heat to other parts when a temperature of a specific part of the structure is raised.

Rolling bearing

A rolling bearing includes an inner ring and an outer ring which are bearing rings; a plurality of rolling elements interposed in a rollable manner between raceway surfaces of the bearing rings; and a retainer configured to retain the plurality of rolling elements. Nozzles configured to inject a cooling fluid (R) toward the rolling elements are provided to a fixed-side bearing ring which is one of the inner ring and the outer ring, with an outlet side of each of the nozzles oriented forward in a revolution direction of the rolling elements.

TURNTABLE FOR A MACHINE TOOL
