The motor includes a motor output shaft that is configured to be mechanically connected to an accessory, which may also be part of the assembly. The power tool includes a controller disposed in the tool housing. The controller is configured to control a speed of the motor. The attachment is configured to be connected to the tool housing. In addition, the attachment is configured to be at least one of electrically connected to the controller, electrically connected to the power supply and mechanically connected to the motor output shaft.
