Cosmetic gel sheet and manufacturing method thereof
A cosmetic gel sheet suitable for a cosmetic field or a medical field is provided. The cosmetic gel sheet of the present invention contains carboxy group-containing water-soluble polymer, polyalcohol, and acid as essential constituent components. Carboxy group-containing polysaccharide can be suitably used as the carboxy group-containing water-soluble polymer. Water content in the gel sheet is 30% by weight, but it is more preferable if the water content is 10% by weight or less. In the cosmetic gel sheet of the present invention, the gel sheet can be manufactured by drying an aqueous solution containing carboxy group-containing water-soluble polymer, polyalcohol, and acid as essential components. Wherein, it is desirable that content of the acid in the aqueous solution is adjusted to a value appropriate for setting pH of the aqueous solution to 2.0-4.0.
TRANSDERMAL DELIVERY COMPOSITE USING COVALENT ORGANIC FRAMEWORK AND POLYMER
The present invention relates to a transdermal delivery composite comprising a cyclodextrin-based covalent organic framework and polymer. In addition, the present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising the transdermal delivery composite, and a method for preparing the transdermal delivery composite.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING ESTOLIDE ESTERS AND COMPOSITION OF ESTOLIDE ESTERS
The invention relates to a method for the preparation of estolide esters from a hydroxycarboxylic acid by a reaction of addition of a fatty acid to the hydroxyl function and by a reaction of esterification of the carboxylic acid function with an alcohol. The invention further relates to the use of estolide esters as a base oil in a lubricating composition or as an emollient in a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition.
VARIANT OF GENUS YARROWIA AND METHOD OF PREPARING FAT USING THE SAME
Provided is a variant strain of the genus Yarrowia. More specifically, provided are a variant strain of the genus Yarrowia, in which activity of phosphatidylethanolamine N-methyltransferase (PEMT) or phospholipid methyltransferase is inactivated, and a method of increasing a fat in the strain, including culturing the strain, or a method of preparing a fat.
Oxidation base derived from 1-hexyl-4,5-diaminopyrazole, composition containing same and use thereof in oxidation dyeing of keratin fibres
The present invention relates to novel 1-hexyl-1H-pyrazole-4,5-diamine derivative compounds of formula (I), to a composition for oxidation dyeing of the keratin fibres containing same, to a process for preparing the compounds of formula (I), to reaction intermediates, to an oxidation dyeing process using the composition, to the use of the compounds of formula (I) for oxidation dyeing of keratin fibres, and also to a kit; and to the 1-hexyl-4,5-diaminopyrazole derivative compounds of formula (I) below: ##STR00001##
and also the addition salts thereof with organic or mineral acids, the tautomers thereof, and the solvates thereof such as hydrates, in which ALK is as defined in the description.
Electrospinning apparatus and systems and methods thereof
A portable, hand-held electrospinning or electrospraying apparatus and system, method, and portions thereof, comprised of a durable portion of the hand-held apparatus and a consumable portion of the hand-held apparatus. The consumable portion of the hand-held apparatus, which may contain the solution to be output in electrospin or electrospray fashion, may be replaced in whole or in part to provide additional or alternative solution. A base station may be provided, and can output high voltage and communication signals to the hand-held apparatus to enable the electrospin or electrospray operation by the hand-held apparatus.
OLIGOPEPTIDE WITH ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITY, PREPARATION METHOD, AND APPLICATION THEREOF
An oligopeptide with anti-inflammatory activity, a preparation method, and an application thereof are provided, belonging to the field of biotechnology. An amino acid sequence of the oligopeptide is shown as SEQ ID NO:1. The preparation method includes: digesting a wheat germ protein through a simulated gastrointestinal tract to obtain protein digestion products; separating the protein digestion products by ultrafiltration membranes to obtain components I (>3 kDa), II (1˜3 kDa), and III (<1 kDa), screening the components to obtain III as an anti-inflammatory active component, and finally identifying the oligopeptide by LC-MS/MS polypeptide. The oligopeptide has strong anti-inflammatory activity, is derived from the wheat germ protein, has the characteristics of safety, high efficiency, simple preparation method, good repeatability, has broad prospects in food, medicine, and other fields, and can be applied to preparations of medicines or functional foods for preventing and treating enteritis.
TERPENE-CONTAINING COMPOSITION AND ITS COSMETIC USE
The present invention relates to a composition comprising beta-caryophyllene, alpha-humulene, and linoleic acid. Moreover, the present invention refers to a composition comprising a blend of one or more oils from the genus Copaifera and one or more oils from the genus Passiflora. The present invention further relates to a cosmetic product comprising such composition. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for preparing such composition and to the use of the composition or the cosmetic product of the present invention for reducing inflammatory responses.
Metal oxide compounds and infusion into polymer compounds
Described is an initial liquid composition with at least antimicrobial, antibacterial, and/or anti-viral properties comprising chelated metal oxide particles suspended in a polyol, such that metal oxide particles are homogeneously dispersed in a primarily liquid based polyol carrier so that chelated metal oxide particles form a stable complex suspension that is optionally an alkaline based aqueous silver oxide dispersion. The liquid composition can be subsequently added to any polymer or polymer compound/system where the polymer degrades or melts at a temperature lower than the polyol carrier degradation or boiling temperature. The metal oxide complex may also impart beneficial semi-conductive or conductive as well as permeability and flammability property changes to the polymer (host) system.
COSMETIC PRODUCT AND MAKING-UP METHOD
A cosmetic product includes an O/W emulsion of a crosslinked silicone obtained from radical polymerization under emulsion polymerization reaction condition of at least one polyorganosiloxane having at least two aliphatic unsaturated carbon-carbon bonds, and optionally an organohydrogenpolysiloxane, in the presence of a polyether-modified polysiloxane. It is used in a making-up method.
