Oil-in-oil type cosmetic composition
The present invention provides an oil-in-oil type cosmetic composition that has excellent transfer resistance after application, a luster, favorable spreadability during application, and also excellent stability. The oil-in-oil type cosmetic composition comprises (a) 5 to 80% by mass of non-volatile hydrocarbon oil, (b) 1 to 70% by mass of non-volatile silicone oil, and (c) 0.1 to 10% by mass of dextrin fatty acid ester. Preferably, the non-volatile hydrocarbon oil (a) and the non-volatile silicone oil (b) are formulated at a ratio (mass ratio) of (a)/[(a)+(b)]=0.4 to 0.8.
Hair shaping composition
The invention provides a hair shaping composition suitably for topical application to hair, the composition having a pH of 4 or less and comprising, in an aqueous continuous phase: (i) at least 0.5% by weight based on the total weight of the composition of a first component selected from D-glucono--lactone, D-glucono--lactone, D-gluconic acid and mixtures thereof; (ii) at least 0.1% by weight based on the total weight of the composition of a second component selected from glyoxylic acid, glyoxylic acid hydrate, salts thereof and mixtures thereof; in which the weight ratio of first component (i) to second component (ii) in the hair shaping composition ranges from 10:1 to 1:10.

The present invention concerns a cosmetic antiperspirant composition comprising at least one substance selected from the group consisting of cosmetic oils which are liquid at 20 C. and 1,013 hPa, odorants and waxes, at least one antiperspirant aluminum salt in a total amount of 1 to 80 wt %, based on the total weight of the cosmetic antiperspirant composition, and at least one compound of the formula (S-I), in which X.sup.+ is H.sup.+, Li.sup.+, Na.sup.+, K.sup.+, NH.sub.4.sup.+, Mg.sup.2+, Ca.sup.2+, Mn.sup.2+, Zn.sup.2+, Al.sup.3+, Zr.sup.4+ or at least one antiperspirant aluminum salt and R.sup.1 is a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, the addition of the at least one compound of the formula (S-I) resulting in effective activation of the at least one antiperspirant aluminum salt, in eminent stabilization of this activated state and in outstanding sweat diminution.
APPLIED FILMS FOR SMOOTHING WRINKLES AND SKIN TEXTURE IMPERFECTIONS
A skin smoothing film made from a skin smoothing composition that comprises sodium silicate, polyvalent silicate and water. Moreover, the film may be made from a composition that has a contraction value of from about 30% to about 160%. The film thickness is from about 5 microns to about 50 microns, preferably from about 10 microns to about 40 microns, when applied. The standard deviation of the film over the area covered is less than about 30, preferably less than about 25.
