Apparatus and method for sterilizing endoscope
A method of sterilizing an article includes receiving the article in a sterilization chamber. The method also includes applying a vacuum to a first pressure less than 100 torr. The method also includes introducing a sterilant into the sterilization chamber. The method also includes maintaining the first pressure in the sterilization chamber for a first period of time. The method also includes venting the sterilization chamber to a second pressure less than 100 torr. The method also includes maintaining the second pressure. The method also includes venting the sterilization chamber to a third pressure. The method also includes maintaining the third pressure. The method also includes venting the sterilization chamber to atmospheric pressure. The method further includes between venting and maintaining steps applying a vacuum to a fourth pressure less than 100 torr, introducing additional sterilant, and maintaining the fourth pressure.
SANITIZATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A sanitization apparatus may comprise a light source configured to emit a light having a first wavelength between 414 and 474 nm; a nonlinear crystal disposed proximal to the light source, the nonlinear crystal configured to receive the light having the first wavelength and output a first portion of the light having the first wavelength and a second portion of the light having a second wavelength, the second wavelength being half the first wavelength; and a prism configured to receive the first portion of the light and the second portion of the light, the prism configured to direct the second portion of the light toward a surface to be sanitized.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF DISINFECTION
A system and method for a UV disinfection device configured to be disposed to direct UV energy through an exit interface toward a target surface of a device. The UV disinfection device may be configured for low-profile distribution of UV energy toward the target surface.
Automatic air conditioner drain system sterilizer
The automatic air conditioner drain system sanitizer may comprise a pump, a controller, a solution reservoir, and a power source. The automatic air conditioner drain system sanitizer may be configured to dispense a drain clearing solution from the solution reservoir into a drain line of an air conditioning system periodically in order to prevent growth of microorganisms within the drain line. The microorganisms may be referred to as white slime and may comprise bacteria, algae, mold, mildew, fungus, or any combination thereof. As non-limiting examples, the drain clearing solution may be white vinegar, bleach, chlorine tablet dissolved in water, or a liquid drain line clearing product. The quantity of the drain clearing solution dispensed and the dispensing interval may be selected and may vary based upon the drain clearing solution used.

REDUCING PATHOGEN TRANSMISSION IN AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE FLEET
An autonomous vehicle (AV) implements a health protocol that may reduce pathogen transmission between users of the AV. The AV is equipped with a thermal sensor that captures a body temperature of a user. The AV compares the user’s temperature to a threshold temperature, and if the user’s temperature exceeds the threshold temperature, the AV performs checks to ensure that the user’s planned trip follows current regulations or recommendations. For example, the AV confirms that the user is traveling between the user’s home and a healthcare facility. If the trip is permitted, the AV enables the user to enter the AV. The AV may include a disinfectant system for disinfecting the passenger compartment or surfaces after the user exits the AV.
