Described herein are compositions for malodor reduction in various air care applications.

Heat exchanger

A heat exchanger is provided that is operated in a cooling operation mode in which a region to be heat-exchanged is cooled by the heat exchanger or in a drying operation mode in which the heat exchanger is supplied with wind from a blowing fan. The heat exchanger includes a refrigerant pipe, a cooling fin coupled to the refrigerant pipe, and a hydrophilic coating coated on a surface of the refrigerant pipe or the cooling fin. The hydrophilic coating includes a first type transition metal oxide which becomes acidic by reacting with moisture formed on the refrigerant pipe or the cooling fin to have antimicrobial activity when the heat exchanger is operated in the cooling operation mode, and a second type transition metal oxide or a post-transition metal oxide which has antimicrobial activity when the heat exchanger is operated in the drying operation mode.

AQUEOUS CHLORINE DIOXIDE SOLUTION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

The aqueous chlorine dioxide solution comprises chlorine dioxide, a potassium salt of a weak acid having a pKa of 2.5 or more, and a chlorite, and has a pH of 4.0 or more and 7.5 or less. The method for producing the aqueous chlorine dioxide solution comprises providing a first aqueous solution containing chlorine dioxide, mixing the first aqueous solution and a second aqueous solution containing a potassium salt of a weak acid having a pKa of 2.5 or more to prepare an intermediate aqueous solution having a pH of 4.0 or more and 7.5 or less, and mixing the intermediate aqueous solution and a third aqueous solution containing a chlorite, or mixing the intermediate aqueous solution and the third aqueous solution and then further adding the second aqueous solution thereto, to prepare an aqueous chlorine dioxide solution having a pH of 4.0 or more and 7.5 or less.

A system for providing a centralized aerosol source extraction and filtration system is disclosed. The system includes an aerosol capture component coupled to a set of aerosol capture ductwork being located at or near a patient's mouth while treatment is being provided and is coupled to a set of aerosol capture ductwork, a filter and fan component coupled to the set of aerosol capture ductwork for generating the necessary pressure differential to draw the air about the patient's mouth into the aerosol capture component along with any airborne particulates, contaminants, and pathogens, and a recycled clean air component for returning recycled clean air back to patient areas and workspaces through a set of recycled clean air ductwork arranged to create positive and directional airflow throughout the office space. The filter and fan component has one or more filter layer types to remove particulates, contaminants, and pathogens from an air flow received from the set of aerosol capture ductwork.
