Malodor reduction in air care applications
Described herein are compositions for malodor reduction in various air care applications.
Air treatment device
An air treatment device includes: a casing having an inlet through which air is drawn, and an outlet out of which the air drawn through the inlet is blown; a blade configured to adjust a direction of the air blown out of the outlet; and a generator configured to generate an antimicrobial element that sanitizes the blade. The blade has a first surface, and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The blade is shiftable between a first position in which the antimicrobial element is provided to the first surface and a second position in which the antimicrobial element is provided to the second surface.

Use of volatile compositions to limit or eliminate the perception of malodor
The various aspects presented herein relate to the perfumery industry. More particularly, the various aspects presented herein relate to the use of volatile compositions to limit, decrease or eliminate the perception of malodor. Such compositions include at least one malodor antagonist optionally combined with perfuming ingredients. Such compositions, their use in combination with delivery systems and their applications in consumer products are also objects of the present disclosure.
Supported catalyst for organic substance decomposition and organic substance decomposing apparatus
A supported catalyst for decomposing an organic substance that includes a carrier and catalyst particles supported on the carrier. The catalyst particles contain a perovskite-type composite oxide represented by A.sub.xB.sub.yM.sub.zO.sub.w, where A contains at least one of Ba and Sr, B contains Zr, M is at least one of Mn, Co, Ni, and Fe, y+z=1, x>1, z<0.4, and w is a positive value that satisfies electrical neutrality. An organic substance decomposition rate after the supported catalyst is subjected to a heat treatment at 950° C. for 48 hours is greater than 0.97 when the organic substance decomposition rate before the heat treatment is regarded as 1, and an amount of the catalyst particles peeled off when the supported catalyst is ultrasonicated in water at 28 kHz and 220 W for 15 minutes is less than 1 wt % of the catalyst particles before untrasonication.
Air filter with pathogen monitoring and inactivation
An improved technology for inactivation of viruses, for example the SARS-CoV-2 virus that is causing the Covid-19 pandemic, is described. The technology can include a device that includes a substrate coated in a polymer that is infused with a pathogen inactivating material. In various embodiments, at a given time, a portion of the pathogen inactivating material is exposed to the environment, and the device is configured to periodically or intermittently expose additional pathogen inactivating material to the environment. For example, the polymer can be ablative or sacrificial.

Odorants and compositions comprising odorants
The present invention relates to new classes of odorous oximes and their ketone intermediates (odorants) which are useful as fragrance or flavor materials in particular in providing cassis, catty, tropical, green, coniferous, thuya, floral and/or fruity olfactory notes to perfume, aroma or deodorizing/masking compositions.

Organic matter decomposition catalyst, organic matter decomposition aggregate, and organic matter decomposition apparatus
An organic matter decomposition catalyst that contains a perovskite type complex oxide represented by A.sub.xB.sub.yM.sub.zO.sub.w, wherein A contains 90 at % or more of at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ba and Sr, B contains 80 at % or more of Zr, M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mn, Co, Ni, and Fe, y+z=1, x>1, z<0.4, and w is a positive value that satisfies electrical neutrality.
