HANDHELD SANDER
A handheld sander includes a main body, an extension arm, a follower draft, and a transmission shaft. The main body includes a housing and a drive shaft rotatably disposed in the housing. The extension arm includes a pivot portion rotatably connected with the housing in a way that the extension arm is rotatable relative to the housing, a distal portion opposite to the pivot portion, and an internal accommodation penetrating through the pivot portion and the distal portion. The follower shaft is rotatably disposed in the distal portion of the extension arm. The transmission mechanism is disposed in the internal accommodation and connected between the drive shaft and the follower shaft for transmitting a rotational power from the drive shaft to the follower shaft. As such, the handheld sander can perform a grinding work in a limit, narrow working space.
Cooling Device For A Rotating Polishing Disk
A cooling device for a rotating machine has a fan assembly coupled with a backing plate. A hub, on the backing plate, secures the cooling device with a shaft. The backing plate includes one or more vents to enable air to exit the cooling device. The fan includes an opening to enable air to enter the cooling device. A chamber is formed between the fan assembly and the backing plate. During rotation, air is drawn into the opening. The air is passed into the chamber and exits through the vents to cool a work surface or working pad attached to the backing plate.
GRINDING MACHINE TOOL
A grinding machine tool comprises a housing, a driving assembly disposed in the housing, a grinding disc driven by the driving assembly, and having a grinding surface and a non-grinding surface, a switch driving the driving assembly, and a pressing plate disposed on the housing and having a first state in which the switch drives the driving assembly to drive the grinding disc when the pressing plate is operated, and a second state in which the switch stops driving the driving assembly when the pressing plate is not operated. The grinding machine tool has a grinding disc braking structure detached from the non-grinding surface when the pressing plate is in the first state; when the pressing plate is in the second state, the grinding disc braking structure moves toward the non-grinding surface and contacts with the grinding disc to stop the grinding disc from rotating.
Dust removal assembly for use with disc grinder
A dust removal assembly for use with a disc grinder includes a base portion with a member defining a major surface, a wall extending at least partially along an outer periphery of the major surface, an exhaust port contained within the wall, and a first ledge positioned proximate the exhaust port extending along the major surface. A top plate, attachable to the wall, includes a second ledge extending downward from a lateral edge toward the base portion such that the first ledge and the second ledge are positioned proximate to, and extend horizontally parallel to, one another. Both the first ledge and the second ledge are configured to permit a circular disc to travel therebetween. A compartment in fluid communication with an exhaust port is defined by the first ledge, the wall and a minor surface positioned below the major surface.
ROBOTIC REPAIR CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A grinding setting selection system for a robotic grinding system is presented. The system includes an abrasive rotational speed retriever that retrieves a current rotational speed of a grinder in the robotic grinding system. The system also includes an end effector load retriever that receives a current end effector load of an end effector in the robotic grinding system. The system also includes a material removal predictor that, based on the retrieved rotational speed and the end effector road, predicts a material removal rate. The system also includes a setting adjuster that, based on the predicted removal rate, provides a setting adjustment for the robotic grinding system. The setting adjustment alters a mechanical setting of the robotic grinding system. The system also includes a setting communicator that communicates the setting adjustment to the robotic grinding system.
DUST COLLECTOR
A dust collector in one aspect of the present invention comprises a dust collection portion, a communication portion, and an interlock operation control portion. When the communication portion receives an interlock command transmitted from an electric working machine, the interlock operation control portion makes the dust collection portion operate interlocking with the electric working machine. The interlock operation control portion includes a storage portion, in which identification information specific to the electric working machine with which the dust collection portion is to be made to perform the interlock operation is stored.
SANDING TOOL
A sanding tool includes a machine body, a power supply, a base plate assembly, a drive mechanism, and a control mechanism. The machine body includes a casing. The base plate assembly includes a base plate. The drive mechanism is disposed in the casing and includes a motor and an output shaft, the motor has a motor shaft rotating around a first axis, the output shaft rotates around a second axis, and the output shaft transmits power to the base plate assembly. The control mechanism is electrically connected to the motor and configured to control the sanding tool to operate. The first axis and the second axis form an included angle and are not in the same plane. A battery pack and the motor are disposed on two sides of the output shaft.
WORK TOOL AND ELECTRIC TOOL
A work tool includes: a motor; a housing; an operation member extending in a longitudinal direction of the tool along the housing, configured to be pivotal about a pivotal axis by being subjected to a grip operation by a user, and exposed outside the housing on both first and second sides with respect to the pivotal axis; and a switch configured to detect that the operation member is moved to a first startup position in a first direction and to detect that the operation member is moved to a second startup position in a second direction opposite the first. The work tool is configured so that the motor is driven in a case where the pivotal movement to the first startup position is detected by the switch, and that the motor is driven in a case where the pivotal movement to the second startup position is detected by the switch.
BRUSHLESS MOTOR SYSTEM FOR POWER TOOLS
A power tool is provided including a gear case having a spindle, a motor case connected to a rear end of the gear case along a longitudinal axis; a handle portion extending from a rear end of the motor case along the longitudinal axis; a motor housed inside the motor case; a fan in rotational connection with the motor; at least one air intake arranged at least one of the motor case or the handle portion near the rear end of the motor case; and a power module including power switches for driving the motor and a heat sink. The power module is housed in at least one of the motor case or the handle portion near the rear end of the motor case such that rotation of the fan causes air flow to enter through the air intake and flow near the heat sink and through the motor.
POWER TOOL
Heat generated during braking is reduced to prevent reduction in braking performance or the service life of the components. A grinder includes a housing, an operable member, a switch operable to be turned on or off in response to an operation on the operable member, a rotational shaft rotatable in response to an operation for turning on the switch, and a brake assembly that applies braking to the rotational shaft with the switch being in an off state and to release the braking applied to the rotational shaft in response to an operation for turning on the switch performed by the operable member. The brake assembly includes a brake member being circular and fixed to the rotational shaft, and multiple pressing members that press the brake member at multiple positions to apply a uniform force to the brake member from radially outward positions toward a center of the brake member.
