Variable Radius Sanding Block
A variable radius sanding block for sanding curved surfaces. The variable radius sanding block includes a base member and a plurality of variably sized radius patches. The base member is sized and proportioned to allow radius patches of varying size to be inserted, such that each of the radius patches will change the curvature of the sanding block upon insertion. The base member also having a folded flexible internal structure and a pair of flexible arms that facilitate insertion of radius patches of varying size. The radius patch includes a pair of grooves that receive the flexible arms of the base member and secure the base member to the radius patch.
Machine tool clamping device
A machine tool clamping device for clamping a laminar machining tool to a tool holder that is eccentrically movably mounted includes at least one clamping unit with at least one movably mounted clamping element. The machine tool clamping device also includes at least one slotted link movement unit configured to move the clamping element in at least one operating state so as to generate tensile stress in the laminar machining tool.
ERGONOMIC ABRASIVE PAD ASSEMBLY
The abrasive pad is removably affixed to the first end and configured to be easily adjustable by release of a hook and loop connection arrangement affixing the abrasive pad to the plate. The grip end and the abrasive pad end of the plate are separated by a specific angle medial bend which facilitate use of the tool in an ergonomic manner. The tool includes a rectangular plate having a first end wrapped with an adjustable abrasive pad and a second grip end. The plate is in the form of a rectangular, parallelepiped with a medial bend between the first end and second end.
Sanding device including means for changing a sanding disk
The invention relates to a sanding assembly including a sanding device (100) comprising a plate (110) for supporting a sanding disk (10) and motor-driven means (140) suitable for moving the supporting plate (110), characterized in that the supporting plate (110) comprises two notches (114, 116) distributed angularly along the periphery thereof, a first notch (114) for engaging with a positioning module (200) and a second notch (116) for engaging with a pulling jaw (400), and a module (500) for verifying the presence of the sanding disk.
Motorized Scrubbing, Buffing, and Polishing Tool
A motorized tool for scrubbing, buffing, and polishing. The tool has a motor within a housing powered by an electrical power supply to move a base member. Surface treatment material is selectively retained by the base member, potentially by a latching system, a sleeved surface treatment system, or hook and loop material. A water-resistant battery pack can be selectively engaged with the housing, such as through a mating engagement between a tubular projection from the battery pack in combination with an annular socket in the housing, in a substantially watertight manner to provide electrical power. A liquid retaining volume can be disposed within the motorized tool, such as partially within a handle and partially contiguous with a motor compartment of the housing, for retaining a volume of liquid. Liquid can be selectively emitted into or through a surface treatment pad through an exhaust tube.
SANDER
The sander includes a sanding part having a planar sheet placement surface on which a sanding sheet can be set, and a clamping mechanism configured to hold the sanding sheet on the sanding part. The clamping mechanism includes a clamping part configured to hold the sanding sheet and to be slid in a direction parallel to the sheet placement surface between a closed position to hold the sanding sheet and an open position to allow removal of the sanding sheet, an elastic element that applies a biasing force of biasing the clamping part toward the closed position, in a direction parallel to the sheet placement surface, and a holding mechanism configured to hold the clamping part in the open position against the biasing force. The clamping part is allowed to hold the sanding sheet when the holding mechanism is released from holding the clamping part in the open position.
SANDING OF ROLLERS
A sand paper holder can be used to control sand paper that is being used to sand machinery at a distance from the equipment. The sand paper holder has a shield plate mounting a handle on one side and a clamping mechanism on the other side. The clamping mechanism securing holds ends of the sand paper. The shield plate provides a barrier between the hand of a technician holding the sand paper holder and the machinery. A method of sending using the sand paper holder is also described.
Sanding disc stabilizing structure of orbital sander
A sanding disc stabilizing structure of an orbital sander comprises a casing, a sanding power source, a sanding disc, and at least four springs. The sanding power source is assembled on the casing and comprises a drive shaft and a tool holder disposed on the drive shaft and offset from an axis of the drive shaft. The center of the sanding disc driven by the sanding power source to perform an orbital motion is disposed on the tool holder with a locking screw. Two ends of each of the at least four springs are respectively disposed on the casing and the sanding disc. The free length of each of at least four springs is greater than the spacing between an installation part of the casing and an installation part of the sanding disc provided for one of the at least four springs.
Abrasive Apparatus having a Material with Variable Stiffness
An abrasive apparatus includes a backing pad comprising a filler material having a variable stiffness material configured with a first stiffness when the abrasive apparatus is in a non-working state, and a second stiffness that is higher than the first stiffness when the abrasive apparatus is in a working state. In addition, the abrasive apparatus includes an abrasive surface connected to the backing pad.
