Cooling device for a rotating polishing disk

A cooling device for a rotating machine has a fan assembly coupled with a backing plate. A hub, on the backing plate, secures the cooling device with a shaft. The backing plate includes one or more vents to enable air to exit the cooling device. The fan includes an opening to enable air to enter the cooling device. A chamber is formed between the fan assembly and the backing plate. During rotation, air is drawn into the opening. The air is passed into the chamber and exits through the vents to cool a work surface or working pad attached to the backing plate.

A floor polishing or grinding pad assembly is provided. In one aspect, a polishing or grinding pad assembly employs a flexible pad, a reinforcement layer or ring, and multiple floor-contacting tools such as abrasive disks. In another aspect, the reinforcement layer includes a wavy or undulating internal edge shape. A further aspect includes an inner ring edge having radially extending slots between pairs of radially enlarged tool mounting peaks. Still another aspect includes an insulator or spacer between a head of an abrasive tool and a reinforcement ring.

Grinding disk of ground grinding machine driven by motor

The present disclosure relates to a grinding disk of a ground grinding machine driven by a motor, including a chassis, wherein a working surface of the chassis is a separate flat disk, fixed devices are arranged on a lower surface of the chassis, and grinding blocks are fixedly installed through the fixed devices. Compared with the prior art, the present disclosure has the following advantages: the size of the grinding working surface of the separate grinding disk may be set freely by changing the arrangement mode of the grinding blocks; so as to reduce the starting torque and achieve the buffer effect; and mounting grooves may adopt the circumferential alternate arrangement or the radial alternate arrangement, so that the installed grinding blocks may compensate for each other, and the uniform and complete grinding is ensured while reducing the quantity of the grinding blocks.

Hand-Held Extender For A Buffing Pad
20220032422 · 2022-02-03 ·

An extender for a buffing pad assembly having a first portion configured to be rotated, thereby transferring power from a power tool to a buffing pad, and a second portion that can be held by a user to support, direct, and/or control the buffing pad during operation of the power tool. The extender preferably includes a shaft, a sleeve, and at least one retainer for fixing the sleeve onto the shaft. The shaft preferably includes a first portion near a first end, a second portion near a second end, and a third circular portion located therebetween. In one embodiment, the shaft includes first and second grooves, thereby allowing a first retainer (e.g., C-clip) to be snapped into the first groove, the sleeve slid over the open end of the shaft, and a second retainer (e.g., C-clip) snapped into the second groove, resulting in a fully assembled extender.
