ADJUSTABLE SHARPENING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CUTTING IMPLEMENTS
A sharpening apparatus includes a base having a top surface with a channel or mounting rail. A clamping assembly is configured to be secured to base via the rail or channel. When installed, the clamping assembly includes a pair of jaws extending upward from the top of the base in opposed alignment with distal ends of each jaw adjustably spaced to grip a cutting implement. A guide rod has an end configured to be pivotably mounted to the base via the rail or channel and so that the rod's position along the base is adjustable by sliding movement along the rail or channel.
GRINDING JIG FOR A BLADE TOOL
A grinding jig (100) for holding a blade tool (200) having an edge (210) in a grinding machine (300), comprising: a first and a second clamp half (110, 120) arranged to hold between them at least a portion of a blade tool, and; an elongate support portion (160) for supporting the grinding jig (100) onto a support bar (350) of a grinding machine (300), wherein; the elongate support portion (160) comprises a front end abutment surface (170) and a rear end abutment surface (180) the front and rear end abutment surfaces (170, 180) are spaced to receive a portion of a support bar (350) of and such that the grinding jig (100) may be moved back and forth relative the support bar (350), in direction parallel with its longitudinal center axis (Y).
ARRANGEMENT FOR GRINDING EDGED TOOLS
An arrangement (50) for grinding edged tools, such as knives, said arrangement (50) configured to be part of a grinding machine (100), comprising: a conical grinding wheel (110) arranged to be rotated in a rotational direction (R) and having an envelope grinding surface (111) for an edged tool (10), and; a grinding jig (120) for holding an edged tool (10), wherein the grinding jig (120), in use, is arranged such that the edged tool (10) extends over the envelope grinding surface (111) perpendicular to the rotational direction (R) and wherein the grinding wheel (110) is made of metal with a super-abrasive coating.

Adjustable sharpening apparatus and method for cutting implements
A sharpening apparatus includes a base having a top surface with a channel or mounting rail. A clamping assembly and at least one angle adjustment assembly are releasably securable to base using the rail or channel. When installed, the clamping assembly includes comprising a pair of jaws extending substantially perpendicularly upward from the top surface in opposed alignment and distal ends adjustably spaced to grip a cutting implement. The angle adjustment assembly has a bracket and a rod receptacle pivotably attached to the bracket. A longitudinal guide rod has an end portion constructed to be releasably secured to the rod receptacle. The sharpening apparatus is constructed to be reversibly assembled with the clamping assembly and the at least one angle adjustment assembly secured to the mounting rail with the angle adjustment assembly adjustably spaced from the clamping assembly, and with the first rod end portion secured to the rod receptacle.

A sharpener cover retrofit attachment to retrofit an electrode sharpener cover attachment on an electrode sharpener, the electrode sharpener for sharpening an electrode rod and having a protruding hollow sharpener shaft with a sharpener shaft outer diameter and a rotating sharpener shaft inner diameter for accepting the electrode rod. The attachment includes a first and second annulus, both axially aligned such that they are able to accept and align the electrode rod into the rotating sharpener shaft inner diameter.
