Method of dressing a tool
The present disclosure relates to a method of dressing a tool which can be used for the gear manufacturing machining of a workpiece on a dressing machine, wherein the dressing takes place with line contact between the dresser and the tool; wherein a specific modification of the surface geometry of the tool is produced in that the position of the dresser with respect to the tool during dressing is varied in dependence on the tool width position.

Abrading tool for a rotary dresser
A roller assembly for a rotary dresser comprise a plurality of axial segments which may be in the form of discs, each disc provided with an abrasive, radially outer surface. The discs are secured in axial alignment, each in a preconfigured rotational orientation. The disc assembly has a centrally arranged aperture for receiving a rotor shaft. The abrasive surface of the assembly can be accurately presented as an array of uniformly shaped abrasive units in a predefined pattern.

WHEEL OUTER RIM FILLET DRESSING DEVICE
Disclosed is a wheel outer rim fillet dressing device, including a rough wheel positioning system, a precision wheel positioning system, a wheel rotating system and a cutter dressing system. After a wheel is roughly positioned, an electric cylinder drives a moving plate to descend to an appropriate position, an adjusting cylinder drives a right sliding table to move right, a left sliding table moves synchronously with right sliding table under the action of a second gear rack, thus the distance between a precision positioning post on left sliding table and a precision positioning post on right sliding table is adjusted, and precision positioning posts contact vertical surface of cap seam allowance of wheel and hold the wheel tightly. The adjusting cylinder is restarted, and outer rim fillets can be dressed when the distance between two dressing cutters is adjusted to an appropriate position and under the cooperation of rotating wheel.

DRESSING APPARATUS AND DRESSING METHOD FOR SUBSTRATE REAR SURFACE POLISHING MEMBER
A dressing apparatus 200 includes a bus member 203 which is equipped with a ceiling plate 201 and a circular or polygonal cylindrical skirt portion 202 provided at a bottom surface of the ceiling plate 201 and which is configured to accommodate a polishing pad 131 from thereabove. The bus member 203 includes a dual fluid nozzle 204 configured to jet a cleaning liquid and a gas onto a polishing surface of the polishing pad 131; a dress board 205 configured to come into contact with the polishing surface of the polishing pad 131; and a rinse nozzle 206 configured to supply a rinse liquid onto a contact surface between the polishing surface of the polishing pad 131 and the dress board 205. A cleaning liquid, a fragment of a grindstone or a sludge is suppressed from being scattered around by the skirt portion 202.
Grinding tool
A grinding tool includes a substrate having a surface provided with a plurality of openings, and a plurality of grinding studs. Each of the grinding studs includes a stud portion and an abrasive particle attached to each other, the stud portions being respectively attached into the openings, and the abrasive particles protruding outward from the surface, each of the abrasive particles having a pattern cut across a tip thereof to define multiple apexes adjacent to one another.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR EFFLUENT MONITORING FOR BRUSH CONDITIONING
Provided is a disclosure for embodiments that perform effluent monitoring for brush conditioning, where the monitored data may be fed back for use in the conditioning.
DRESSING BOARD, CUTTING BLADE DRESSING METHOD, AND CUTTING APPARATUS
Disclosed herein is a dressing board for dressing a cutting blade. The dressing board is held on a chuck table in dressing the cutting blade. The dressing board includes a bar code formed on the front side of the dressing board for indicating kind information on the dressing board, and a groove code formed on the front side of the dressing board at an edge portion thereof, the groove code being composed of grooves having pattern corresponding to that of the bar code. Even when the bar code is cut off by the cutting blade in dressing the cutting blade, the kind information on the dressing board is indicated by the groove code left on the front side of the dressing board.
