Provided is a liquid circulation device for a machine tool including a tank which has an introduction portion and a lead-out portion of a liquid, and in which a liquid circulated between the liquid circulation device and the machine tool is stored; and a heat exchanger disposed in the tank, in which the tank has a throttle portion in which a cross-sectional area of a liquid passage between the introduction portion and the lead-out portion is reduced and a first storage portion on the introduction portion side from the throttle portion, and at least a portion of the heat exchanger is disposed between a center of the first storage portion and the throttle portion.

Polishing device

A polishing device configured to polish a glass substrate is disclosed, including a polishing wheel fixedly arranged, a cooling pipe, and a movable platform. The polishing wheel has an outer peripheral polishing surface, the glass substrate is placed on the platform and is driven by the platform to move so as to make the outer peripheral polishing surface polish the predetermined polishing surface of the glass substrate; the polishing wheel further has a chamber, and the cooling pipe containing a coolant is disposed in the chamber to decrease a temperature of the chamber and then to make temperatures of the outer peripheral polishing surface and the predetermined polishing surface during polishing is lower than a preset temperature. The disclosure solves the problem of high polishing temperature of the polishing wheel and the glass substrate, thereby enhancing the service life of the polishing wheel and the yield of the glass substrate.

Polishing device

A polishing device configured to polish a glass substrate is disclosed, including a polishing wheel fixedly arranged, a cooling pipe, and a movable platform. The polishing wheel has an outer peripheral polishing surface, the glass substrate is placed on the platform and is driven by the platform to move so as to make the outer peripheral polishing surface polish the predetermined polishing surface of the glass substrate; the polishing wheel further has a chamber, and the cooling pipe containing a coolant is disposed in the chamber to decrease a temperature of the chamber and then to make temperatures of the outer peripheral polishing surface and the predetermined polishing surface during polishing is lower than a preset temperature. PLANAR GRINDER

A sample grinder includes a base having a bowl and a rotatable drive plate to operably support a grinding wheel. A head is configured to support a specimen holder and has a first drive for rotational drive of the specimen holder and a second drive for moving the head and specimen holder toward and away from the drive plate. The head has a sleeve that is larger than the specimen holder. A cover is disposed over the bowl and has an opening larger than the sleeve so that the sleeve fits through the opening when the specimen holder is moved toward the rotatable drive plate. The grinding wheel is mountable to the plate in a single radial orientation only. A dressing system is operably connected to a controller to monitor the current of the drive plate motor and/or the head first drive actuates the dressing system based upon the current drawn by the drive plate motor and/or the head first drive motor falling below a predetermined value.

PLANAR GRINDER

A sample grinder includes a base having a bowl and a rotatable drive plate to operably support a grinding wheel. The pair of platens are configured as an upper platen and a lower platen such that the upper platen is fixed to the base and the lower platen is adjustably positioned on the base, to receive and support a member for scarfing. Also, at least one platen of the pair of platens is hollow and is defined with an inlet port and an outlet port. The scarfing machine further includes a scarfing tool, extending from either side and along a length of at least one of the pair of platens, to scarf the member supported between the pair of platens. The scarfing machine also includes a cooling circuit, fluidly connectable to the inlet port and the outlet port of the at least one platen of the pair of platens.

A scarfing machine includes a base and a pair of platens adjustably positioned on the base. COOLANT RECAPTURE AND RECIRCULATION IN MATERIAL REMOVAL SYSTEMS

Apparatus, systems, and/or methods for filtering, recapture, and/or recirculation of coolant are disclosed. In some examples, coolant (e.g., coolant fluid) is used to cool and/or clean a machine, such as a material removal machine, for example. In some examples, a recirculation tank may be in fluid communication with an inlet and/or outlet of a cabinet (and/or housing) of the machine. The recirculation tank may include a recapture reservoir having a filtering surface configured to prevent particulates, debris, and/or swarf from being recirculated with the coolant. A vibration device (e.g., a vibration motor and/or vibrating actuator), may be in contact with and/or configured to vibrate (and/or shake, rattle, oscillate, etc.) the filtering surface, recapture reservoir, and/or recirculation tank so as to keep the filter free from obstruction and/or help settle and/or compact filtered particulates in a bottom of the recapture reservoir and/or recirculation tank.
