Hand-held power tool with a cooling unit
A hand-held power tool includes a housing, a motor, a cooling unit, and a plurality of electronics. The housing includes a first housing part and an air intake opening. The motor is assigned to a drive train of the hand-held power tool. The cooling unit is configured to cool the motor. The plurality of electronics is located in the housing. The first housing part includes at least one air channel that is integral with the first housing part. The air intake opening is configured to conduct a cooling air flow directly to the motor via the at least one air channel.
LIQUID RECLAMATION AND RECIRCULATION SYSTEM FOR A WET SAW CUTTING APPARATUS
A liquid reclamation and recirculation system for a wet saw cutting apparatus comprising: a wet saw having a blade onto which liquid is dispensed by a liquid dispenser adjacent thereto; a first tank for receiving the liquid that has been dispensed onto the blade, the liquid received by the first tank defining a water level of the first tank; a second tank for receiving the liquid at or near the water level of the first tank; wherein the liquid dispensed by the liquid dispenser is drawn from the second tank.
Apparatus and a process for grinding an edge and a glazing having a ground edge
An apparatus for edge grinding a glazing comprising a grinding wheel, rotatable about an axis, a groove in a circumference of the wheel and first and second orifices arranged on first and second sides of the plane of the groove, which form first and second jets of coolant directed substantially into the groove on first and second trajectories not in the plane of the groove. A corresponding process for edge grinding causes fewer sharp portions and fewer small fractures in the glazing edge than the prior art. A glazing manufactured by the apparatus or the process has higher edge strength than the prior art.

WASHING LIQUID AND WASHING METHOD FOR GLASS POLISHING DEVICE
When an alkali-free glass is polished with a polishing liquid containing hydrofluoric acid as a main component, a sludge is generated on a glass surface and in a storage unit and a pipe of a polishing device. As a result, there arise problems such as deterioration of quality and stopping of the device. A washing liquid that dissolves a sludge containing aluminum and fluorine produced in a glass polishing device is characterized by containing Al3+ ions, and a sludge formed by bonding a divalent element such as Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba with Al and F can be dissolved with this washing liquid. The problems are solved by washing the inside of the polishing device with this washing liquid.
COLD SANDING OF THERMOPLASTIC WORKPIECES
A method includes: (a) actively cooling an outer surface of a workpiece until the outer surface reaches a predetermined surface temperature; and (b) sanding the outer surface of the workpiece when the outer surface of the workpiece has reached the predetermined surface temperature.

Coolant Supply Device
A coolant supply device includes a coolant tank having first and second coolant reservoirs arranged in parallel with a predetermined space therebetween and a communicating part arranged between the first and second coolant reservoirs to allow them to communicate with each other, and formed to have a U-shaped overall shape. The coolant supply device further includes pumps pumping up coolant from the second coolant reservoir and supplying the coolant to predetermined destinations. The coolant supplied by the pumps is returned to the first coolant reservoir and flows into the second coolant reservoir through the communicating part. The first coolant reservoir has a first agitating nozzle body disposed therein for discharging coolant to assist a flow of coolant flowing toward the communicating part, and the second coolant reservoir has a second agitating nozzle body disposed therein for discharging coolant to assist a flow of coolant flowing therein from the communicating part.
POLISHING METHOD AND POLISHING APPARATUS
A polishing method including rubbing a wafer held by holding means against a polishing pad attached to a turntable while cooling the turntable by supplying a refrigerant to a refrigerant flow path provided in the turntable which is driven to rotate by a motor, thereby performing polishing, the polishing method being characterized in that, during standby after end of the polishing of the wafer and before performing the polishing of a next wafer, a flow volume of the refrigerant is controlled to be less than a flow volume of the refrigerant during the polishing where the wafer is polished, the turntable is rotated by the motor, and a water retaining liquid having a temperature adjusted to a room temperature or more is supplied to the polishing pad.
Processing apparatus
A processing apparatus includes a chuck table for holding a plate-like workpiece under suction. A suction unit is connected to the chuck table, and a processing unit is configured to process the workpiece while supplying processing water to the workpiece. The suction unit includes a first suction source, a first pipe providing fluid communication between the first suction source and the chuck table, a separator arranged in the first pipe, for separating a gas and a liquid drawn in from the chuck table, and a water discharging unit configured to discharge the liquid separated by the separator. The water discharging unit includes a second suction source, a second pipe providing fluid communication between the second suction source and a water discharge port of the separator, and a check valve arranged in the second pipe, for preventing a fluid from flowing from the second suction source to the separator.
