The abrasive material delivery systems can include a valve configured to adjust an inflow of abrasive material into the abrasive material delivery system from a source of abrasive material. The systems can include a chamber downstream of the valve and configured to receive the inflow of abrasive material from the valve. The systems can include a metering component configured to control an outflow of abrasive from the chamber to a cutting head of the liquid jet cutting system. In some embodiments, the systems include a sensor configured to monitor movement of a top surface of a portion of abrasive material within the chamber as the top surface moves through the chamber; and a processing device operably connected to the sensor and configured to determine an abrasive flow rate through the metering component based on a speed of the top surface as monitored by the sensor.
Wet Abrasive Blast Machine with Remote Control Rinse Cycle
An improved wet abrasive blast machine with remote control rinse cycle enables a pilot operating the apparatus to control remote switching between blast and rinse cycles directly, for example from a nozzle of a blast hose or from a panel. A first and second hydraulic circuit and a pneumatic circuit are controllable via communication with a control circuit which is operable remotely to direct a configurable pilot signal between various valve states. In a preferred embodiment, the control circuit is powered pneumatically via a branch circuit fed from the pneumatic circuit. Switching between to configurations is effected by directing an air pilot signal between airflows interior to a series of valves. In an alternate embodiment switching airflows between configurations is effected electrically.

A control unit (15) is configured to control the motion of the bar, the bar (14) carries one or more fluid jet cutting tools (16A-D). Each end of the bar are arranged to the guides via a first journal means (18A) and a second journal means (20A). The machine comprises a workpiece position measuring equipment (22x, 22x, 22x) for sensing at least two reference positions (x, x, x) of the workpiece (2), and the control unit (15) is configured to operate the motion of the bar (14) from the reference position values (x, x, x) and other operational data. The invention also relates to a method for fluid jet cutting of a workpiece. The invention also relates to a computer program at a machine for fluid jet cutting of a workpiece. The invention also relates to a computer program product at a machine for fluid jet cutting of a workpiece.
Apparatus, system, and method for machining an inner diameter of bored structures using an abrasive jet
An abrasive jet apparatus configured to machine features into an inner diameter of bored structures. In the abrasive jet apparatus, an abrasive mixture of pressurized liquid and abrasive particles is propelled as an abrasive jet in a direction other than the direction in which the abrasive jet apparatus extends. The abrasive jet apparatus may be implemented in an automated boring system and boring method for machining rifling grooves and other features into bored structures. The boring system and boring method use an iterative process of mapping a target surface of the bored structure and adjusting parameters of the boring system in between successive passes of the abrasive jet on the target surface.
Apparatus and method for automatic tire replacement
An automatic tire replacement apparatus is disclosed that has a hydraulic fluid line connected to a hydraulic fluid reservoir via a reservoir at one end a hydraulic fluid retainer at the other end. At least one hydraulic piston is provided that has a hollow barrel with an inner volume and an outer volume, a piston, and a piston rod with a first end and a second end within the inner volume of the hydraulic piston. The apparatus also contains a power rod, with a spiral thread, partially within the hollow barrel outer volume. The hollow barrel is connected to the hydraulic fluid retainer via an inner piston actuator and an outer piston actuator. The power rod is connected to the piston rod. A power bolt that has a set of inward facing pins is engaged with at least the power rod spiral thread.
ROTARY TOOL WITH SMART INDEXING

The lance's movements relative to openings defined in the heat exchanger face plate are controlled via a smart indexing controller. The controller includes an electronic communication device that is specifically programmed to selectively activate various components of the rotary tool and a water delivery system. The programming utilizes an observed, learned, or uploaded pattern of the heat exchanger tube openings to selectively rotate the lance relative to the rotary tool's mounting assembly or linearly move the lance towards or away from the mounting assembly. The controller moves the lance to align a nozzle thereon with a selected opening in the face plate and then delivers a high pressure water jet therethrough.
