In at least one embodiment there is a wound application comprising at least one film applied over a wound comprising at least 1% green tea, and at least 0.01% sugar, wherein said film comprises a polymeric film comprising united chains and monomeric glucose points. In at least one other embodiment there is a wound application comprising a solution comprising at least trace amounts of colloidal silver, at least trace amounts of sodium chloride, at least trace amounts of dextrose; and water, wherein the colloidal silver, the sodium chloride and the dextrose are dissolved in water. In at least one other embodiment there is an application for treating a wound comprising both a solution comprising at least trace amounts of colloidal silver and a film comprising at least trace amounts of green tea applied over the solution on top of a wound.

Disclosed is a hydrophilic dressing (200) having appropriate mechanical strength, comprising a composite material (100, 220) and a film (210). The composite material (100, 220) comprises a hydrophilic substrate material (110) and a compound (120) that promotes wound healing, wherein the hydrophilic substrate material (110) is a reaction product of a hydrophilic polymer, wherein the hydrophilic polymer comprises a hydrophilic monomer, a cross-linking agent and an inorganic silicon-oxygen compound, wherein the compound (120) that promotes wound healing is distributed in the hydrophilic substrate material (110).
Bioactive Wound Dressing and Teeth Coating Based on Morphogenetically Active Amorphous Calcium Polyphosphate
This invention relates to a method for sealing dentinal tubules exposed at the tooth surface as a consequence of enamel defects, based on amorphous calcium polyphosphate (Ca-polyP) nano- or microparticles that strongly bind both to tooth enamel, cementum and dentin surfaces. The inventive method can also be used for the production of morphogenetically active tooth implants. A further aspect of this invention concerns the incorporation of such nano- or microparticles, after encapsulation of retinol (“retinol/aCa-polyP nano- or microspheres”), into wound dressings and related materials that are made, e.g., by electrospinning. The resulting, inventive retinol/aCa-polyP nano- or microspheres fiber mats show antimicrobial and wound healing properties and was found to increase the expression of the genes encoding for leptin and the leptin receptor, as well as the fatty acid binding protein 4 (FABP4) in a synergistic manner. This inventive material is the first material that can be used to promote wound healing through affecting the leptin/leptin receptor expression.

SYSTEMS, METHODS AND DEVICES FOR AEROSOL SPRAYING OF SILICONE BASED TOPICAL SKIN ADHESIVES FOR SEALING WOUNDS
An aerosol spray device includes a container having first and second fluid reservoirs disposed therein that are divided from one another. The first fluid reservoir holds a first mixture including a first aerosol propellant and a first part of a silicone based topical skin adhesive that is dissolved in the first aerosol propellant. The second fluid reservoir holds a second mixture including a second aerosol propellant and a second part of the silicone based topical skin adhesive that is dissolved in the second aerosol propellant. An aerosol spray dispensing system is connected with the container, which is configured to combine the first and second mixtures to form the silicone based topical skin adhesive and dispense the silicone based topical skin adhesive from the container as an aerosol spray.
