Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system that comprises a bar and a pair of clamps. The bar defines a set of spaced apertures. The pair of clamps comprises a first clamp and a second clamp. Each of the first clamp and the second clamp comprises a first portion and a second portion.

The present invention relates to a device (14) and a method for installing a filter bag having an open end on a sector (5) of a disc filter (1). The device (14) comprises a substantially horizontal elongated body (15) having a first end and a second end and at least three clamping devices (16) attached to the body (15). Each clamping device (16) comprises a substantially vertical supporting leg (17). The device (14) comprises a suspension arrangement for the filter bag at both ends of the body (15).

A locking assembly for locking a portable electronic device to a work surface. The locking assembly comprises a clamp assembly including an elongated bar that extends between a first end and a second end. The clamp assembly further includes a first jaw and a second jaw movable along the elongated bar for clamping to a work surface between the first and second jaws. A connector extends from a first connector end that is pivotally connected to the locking assembly to a second end that can be connected to the portable electronic device. The connector securing the portable electronic device to the work surface while permitting it to pivot with respect to the locking assembly.

A support for a mitre joint uses two wedging mechanisms disposed at a characteristic angle. Each wedging mechanism is arranged to locate inside a hollow rail, such as within an extruded hollow beam. The wedging mechanism can be operated from outside the joint in order to clamp the mechanism in position. An anti-pivot and lock mechanism for a clamp including a horizontal post connected and moveable relative to a vertical post. The mechanism engages the vertical post and horizontal post above or below a pivot axis of the horizontal post to prevent or minimize pivoting movement of the horizontal post between changes of consecutive clamped workpieces.

A tool for retracting pistons into cylinder bores is disclosed, with a narrow gap between facing pressure plates allowing use of the tool in tight places, and ratcheting spreading of the facing pressure plates causing outward moving of the pistons, enabling work to be performed. One of the pressure plates is reversible to change the minimum narrow gap from a first width to a second width. In each of the orientations, the plates are movable towards and away from one another.

A workpiece clamping device able to clamp a first workpiece and a second workpiece placed on the first workpiece. The workpiece clamping device includes a receiving base on which the first workpiece is to be placed, a first clamping mechanism for clamping the first workpiece, and a second clamping mechanism for clamping a second workpiece placed on the first workpiece. The first clamping mechanism has a first clamp section and a second clamp section, which are provided on the receiving base so as to open and close. The second clamping mechanism has a third clamp section and a fourth clamp section, which are provided on the receiving base so as to open and close, to retain the second workpiece at a predetermined position with respect to the first workpiece.

The embodiments herein provide a modular rosin press device for use with a base clamp device having a pair or opposing rectangular elements, the modular device having a proximal press assembly, distal press assembly, and proximal block assembly. Each press assembly preferably contains a metallic heating component with a channel sized to accept the rectangular elements of the base clamp device. Each press assembly may also include a heating element, insulating plate, ledges which extend inwardly, and ribs of various designs and orientations.

A multi-clamp stand apparatus for handsfree assistance includes a base having front side, a back side, a top side, and a bottom side. A support pole has a bottom end and a top end. The bottom end is coupled to the top side of the base. A clamp collar is coupled to the support pole and is slidably engageable on the support pole from the bottom end to the end. An adjustment mechanism is coupled to the clamp collar and is in operational communication with the support pole to fix and alternatively release the clamp collar and the support pole. An at least one clamp is coupled to the clamp collar.
