Hole drilling jig apparatus
The current invention relates to jig apparatus which is provided of a form to allow accurate positioning and repositioning of the same with respect to workpiece and the use of the jig apparatus to provide a guide for the provision of a drill bit through at least one guide passages therein to form a hole in the workpiece at a required location. In one embodiment the jig apparatus is provided in a form so as to provide a plurality of passages, each of which can be used as a guide for a drill bit to thereby allow a plurality of spaced apart drill holes to be formed in the workpiece without the need to move the jig apparatus with respect to the workpiece. In one embodiment guide means are provided which are selectively positionable by the user in order to allow the position of the jig apparatus with respect to the workpiece to be accurately defined and retained by the user.
ADJUSTABLE BAR-GUIDING DEVICE
An adjustable bar-guiding device includes at least one pair of complementarily-shaped jaws which are slideably associated with a fixed frame with the interposition of at least one movement lever mechanism which is actuated by at least one fluid cylinder. The jaws perform a translational motion according to a stroke of mutual approach/spacing apart, between a first configuration of substantial juxtaposition of their respective surfaces and a second configuration in which the surfaces are located at a predefined distance for containing a bar.
Grip jaw structure
The present disclosure relates to a grip jaw structure with characteristics as follows: a cam disk is driven by a rotary motor; two transmission shafts are driven through two slotted guideways in the cam disk; lubricants inside the slotted guideways adhere to a plurality of bearings in which the transmission shafts in the slotted guideways are inserted when the transmission shafts are shifted; sliders between which a workpiece is clamped are driven to be shifted by the transmission shafts along linear rails at the top of the framework for stresses sustained and dispersed by bearings.

Blank holder for a dental milling machine
The invention relates to a blank holder for a dental milling machine. The blank holder has a clamping frame with a receptacle for a blank. The clamping frame includes a first frame part and a second frame part which are pivotable relative to one another to open the receptacle. A first clamping face is formed on the first frame part and a second clamping face is formed on the second frame part. The clamping faces engage an outer periphery of the blank with the clamping frame closed. To configure a blank holder so that the blank is fixed in the clamping frame in a play-free manner, provision is made to form one of the clamping faces on an annular clamping ring. The clamping ring is held on a frame part and is displaceable counter to a force in the axial direction.

Grip vise
A vise includes a stationary jaw at one end of a rail and including a moveable jaw member having a clamping surface, and a lever having a cam at one end engaged with the jaw member; and a moveable jaw on the rail and including a moveable member engaging with a limit member at the other end of the rail; a jaw element having one end secured to the moveable member and having a clamping surface at the other end, an internal moveable wedge secured to the clamping surface of the jaw element and having first and second inclined surfaces; two opposite arms pivotably secured to the moveable member wherein one ends of the arms contact each other and engage with the first and second inclined surfaces respectively, and each arm has a cavity on an outer edge; and two urging blocks complimentarily engaging the arms respectively.
Locking system for suspended loads
An elongated cam pin for use in a clamping assembly, the pin comprising a first half-round portion and a second half-round portion laterally offset from the first half-round portion, wherein the centers of the first and second half-round portions are spaced-apart a distance S along a diametral center line of the pin, wherein each of the half-round portions has a radius R and a diameter D equal to 2R, and wherein the ratio D/S is between approximately 2 and approximately 3. In one embodiment the ratio D/S is approximately 2.3. In some embodiments rotation of the cam pin within the clamping assembly is actuated by a shaft having a relatively short stroke length. In some embodiments the cam pin is rotatable within the clamping assembly through an arc of up to approximately 40. In some embodiments the actuating shaft is movable within the housing of a compact locking apparatus to cause the clamping assembly to releasably engage a restraint cable in a self-gripping fashion. In some embodiments the locking apparatus may be used in a locking system designed to safely lock a suspended load at a desired location relative to the cable. In some embodiments the cable is at least one inch in diameter and the diameter D of each of the half-round pins is approximately 1.75 times the diameter of the cable. In some embodiments the suspended load may comprise a bin floor and any supported lumber travelling between loading and discharge positions in a lumber sorting apparatus.
