A readjustment device and a method for a machine tool process plate-shaped workpieces. The readjustment device contains an upper pressure-exerting device, which at least contains pressure plungers which are oriented at a spacing to one another, and a lower supporting device, which at least has counter-bearings which are arranged at a spacing to one another and which, in a working position, are oriented so as to fix the plate-like workpiece in a clamping manner with respect to the pressure plungers of the upper pressure-exerting device. The pressure plungers of the upper pressure-exerting device can be transferred from a rest position to the working position by a drive device. The pressure plungers of the upper pressure-exerting device are being coupled to one another and are controlled so as to be movable or pivotable together between the rest position and the working position.
Miter clamping system
A clamping system and method useful in miter edge fabrication. Two separate units, each including a vacuum plate may be placed on separate slabs. The units may be connected with a knuckle that can be rotated to provide connection of the slabs in a variety of angles. The units are vacuum sealed to the slabs. The vacuum plates may include various sections of varied sizes to connect to different sized slabs. When the knuckle is locked, a worm gear will provide for lateral movement, relative the knuckle, to provide precision fitting of slabs.

A fixture and a method for clamping a plurality of frame-shaped workpieces. The fixture includes a plurality of clamping members adapted to be alternately stacked with the plurality of frame-shaped workpieces along a stacking direction; the plurality of clamping members having positioning holes aligned to each other in the stacking direction; and a locking assembly at least partially arranged in the positioning holes and adapted to press the plurality of clamping members in the stacking direction to allow the plurality of clamping members to be clamped in position.
VARIABLE SIZE HIGH SPEED WELDER
A variable size welder that facilitates welding of polymer quadrilateral frame structures. The welder includes at least two parts conveyors that deliver parts from a remote location and parts staging stations and end heaters on each of four sides of the variable size welder. A centrally located four corner clamping structure and at least two robotic parts movers are configured to reach the at least two parts conveyors and also to reach the parts staging stations and end heaters. The at least two robotic parts movers are further configured to reach at least a portion of the four corner clamping structure.
REPEATEDLY, QUICKLY AND DETACHABLY CONNECTABLE RETAINING MECHANISM
A retaining mechanism consists of a seat including a curved support portion connected to a coupling portion for extending through an engaging slot on a substrate, and a clamp member slidably assembled to the seat. The coupling portion has an end provided with a retaining protrusion for protruding into a first end of the engaging slot and another end forming an elastic clamping section pressing on a bottom of the substrate. The seat further includes a holding section located corresponding to the retaining protrusion and a pressing section of the clamp member, so that a clamping opening is formed between the pressing section and the holding section for clamping an electronic card thereto. The holding section has a beveled outer edge retreated toward the support portion and the coupling portion to allow observation of the engagement of the retaining protrusion with the engaging slot from a top of the substrate.

A workpiece holding mechanism includes: a stage on which a plate-like workpiece is placed; a pressing mechanism that includes a plurality of protrusions provided independently from the stage and disposed to come into contact with a circumferential edge portion of the workpiece from a front side of the workpiece, the front side being opposite to the stage, and presses the circumferential edge portion of the workpiece against the stage by the plurality of protrusions; and a clamp mechanism that includes a clamp portion provided to the stage and configured to come into contact with the circumferential edge portion of the workpiece from the front side of the workpiece at a location between the protrusions without interfering with the plurality of protrusions, and presses the circumferential edge portion of the workpiece against the stage by the clamp portion.
