Hand clamp improvement and accessory
A spring clamp for assembly fixturing includes a retainer that limits a minimum distance between jaws of the spring clamp when the spring clamp is in a relaxed state.
Clamping device for lifting and transfer objects
Attachments for a clamping device can be used to increase the contact area between the jaws and the object to allow the clamping device to handle irregular objects, such as non-flat panels of metal, granite, ceramic, glass, quartz, or concrete plates. The attachments can include plate assemblies to be attached to the sides of the irregular objects. The attachments can include jaw plate assemblies to be attached to the sides of the jaws of the clamping device.
Clamping Force Visualization Device and Clamp
A clamping force visualization device, including a first clamping body (01) for clamping an object; the first clamping body (01) is telescopically assembled on a base (14), an elastic element (110) is provided between the first clamping body (01) and the base (14), and a clamping force scale (11) and a reading indicator (15) are respectively provided on the first clamping body (01) and the base (14); when the first clamping body (01) clamps the object, the elastic element (110) measures a clamping force and the reading indicator (15) points to the clamping force scale (11) for reading, so that the magnitude of the clamping force can be intuitively seen and read during clamping, thereby achieving accurate clamping. A clamp including the clamping force visualization device is also involved.
Constant force expansion lattice
A constant force expansion construct includes a plurality of expandable layers, each expandable layer including: (a) a longitudinal restricting beam; and (b) a plurality of interconnected flexible biasing struts connecting the longitudinal restricting beam of one expandable layer to another longitudinal restricting beam in a next adjacent expandable layer, the biasing struts being biased toward a compressed position and being movable between the compressed position and an expanded position in which a distance between successive longitudinal restricting beams is increased.
Handheld modular rosin press device
The embodiments herein provide a modular rosin press device for use with a base clamp device having a pair or opposing rectangular elements, the modular device having a proximal press assembly, distal press assembly, and proximal block assembly. Each press assembly preferably contains a metallic heating component with a channel sized to accept the rectangular elements of the base clamp device. Each press assembly may also include a heating element, insulating plate, ledges which extend inwardly, and ribs of various designs and orientations.
Gripper with a trident body section
A modular gripper has a body with a trident section and cylindrical section. A powering assembly is positioned in the cylindrical section. A pair of oppositing jaws is pivotally secured between a center wall and a pair of side wall, respectively, of the trident section. The piston rod moves a cam assembly on the center wall. The cam assembly passes through a body having a trident section and cylindrical section. The trident section comprises a trident structure that includes, at one end, a pair of side walls along with a center wall. The cylindrical section includes a fluid driven powering assembly. A pair of opposing jaw member are pivotally secured to the trident portion about separate pivot pins. A cam assembly is operatively connected to a piston rod of the fluid driven powering assembly. The cam assembly extends laterally outward with respect to a cylinder bore axis to receive a cam bush that engages with a through slot on each of the pair of opposing jaw members. The jaws rotate with respect to one another in response to fluid power in the cylindrical section. A pair of side plate members, each slide plate member has an elongated blind slot that receives an end of the cam assembly, the ends travel in the blind slot. Cam slots in the pair of opposing jaws, via a cam bushing.
Clamping jig for tube connection
The present invention provides a clamping jig for tube connection with which it is possible to clamp tubes even in a small and narrow space. A clamping jig for tube connection 10 according to the present invention is a clamping jig for tube connection that clamps joint-equipped tubes 60, each tube including a protruding collar portion 63 at a position rearward of its leading end. The clamping jig for tube connection includes: a first member 20 that includes a first clamping portion 21 that is provided at a leading end thereof and to which one of the tubes is fitted, and a first gripping portion 23 formed at a base end thereof, a second member 30 that includes a second clamping portion 31 that is provided at a leading end thereof and to which the other tube is fitted, and a base end thereof being pivotally supported at the base end of the first member by a pivoting portion 27; a support rod 25 that extends from the first member through the second member; and a lever member 40 in which a leading end thereof is pivotally supported by a support portion 26 provided in the support rod, and a lever gripping portion 41 is formed at a base end thereof, the lever member 40 enabling swinging of the lever gripping portion in a direction of the base end of the second member, and the lever member 40 including a pressing portion 42 that presses the second member on the base end side relative to the support portion.
Shaft Lockout
A shaft lockout has a clamp body that is configured to open and close for locating around a shaft of an electric machine. The clamp body has a clamp bottom portion and a clamp top portion that are hingeably coupled together and form a shaft aperture configured to extend around the shaft of the electric machine. An eyebolt extends between the clamp top portion and clamp top portion and has a bolt extension with bolt threads configured to receive a nut to secure the clamp body in a closed configuration. The shaft is restrained from rotating by a shaft set screw configured to thread into a set screw aperture in the clamp body to press against said shaft and a machine wedge screw configured to thread into a machine wedge aperture, also in the clamp body, and wedge against said electric machine.
ALIGNMENT JIG AND HOLDING SYSTEM FOR A WORKPIECE
An alignment jig for holding and aligning a workpiece. The alignment jig has a base configured to support the workpiece and a first jaw extending from the base. The first jaw has a wedge-shaped flange defining opposing, angled alignment surfaces. The alignment jig also has a second jaw extending from the base of the alignment jig opposite the first jaw. The second jaw is moveable relative to the base such that the second jaw is configured to clamp a workpiece inserted between the first and second jaw against the alignment surfaces.
Compressible cam lever
Provided is a compressible cam lever that has a section that can be compressed by external force. When the external force is released, elastic force within the cam lever causes the section to return back to its original position creating a spring force. The compressible cam lever may be used as part of a handle for opening and closing a clamp that is part of a tripod or other piece of equipment which can hold rails for firearms, sights, scopes, parts, and the like, therein. The compressible cam lever may include a handle, a round-shaped section comprising a flexible curved surface that curves back towards the handle and protrudes outward, and an opening disposed between an end of the flexible curved surface and the handle.
