A segmented wood bracing assembly includes a base that has an upper surface a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. A pair of rails is attached to the base and extends between the first and second lateral edges. Each of a plurality of cradles receives a plurality of wood sections to be glued together into a polygonal shape. The cradles include a receiver having a top side, a first side edge and a second side edge. The top side has a convexly arcuate section for receiving the wood sections. Each of the first and second side edges has one of a pair of clamps mounted thereon. A strap has a first end and a second end. Each of the first and second ends is removably engaged to one of the clamps. The clamps is actuated to locked position to tighten the strap over the top side.

MODULAR CLAMP SYSTEM

A modular clamp system includes at least one clamp having an L-shaped clamp body. The clamp body is defined by a first leg and a second leg, where the first leg includes a threaded bore extending therethrough, while the second leg includes a threaded channel in which a spring loaded retractable pin is retained. The clamp may further include a handle assembly having an adjustable threaded rod configured to travel back and forth through the threaded bore and to engage a workpiece. The handle assembly has a handle for rotating the handle assembly and may include a hex cap to interface with a drill or wrench. The clamp also includes a pair of spaced apart cleated feet for securing the clamp to a framing such as a half-slotted strut.

OBJECT SECURING DEVICE

The disclosure presented herein relates to a clamp, vice, clasp or similar structure with an upper and lower jaw capable of gripping a surface. In use the jaws are separated and placed around the surface before being closed and tightened such that the clamp, vice, clasp reversibly grips the surface. A cord, strap, leash or similar structure is attached to the clamp. A spring loaded plastic toggle is attached to the end of the cord, strap, leash or similar structure. In use the cord, strap, leash or similar structure is secured around an item with the spring loaded plastic toggle. As the cord, strap, leash or similar structure is secured to the clamp the item is also secured to the clamp and the surface.

CONNECTOR FOR WOODWORKING CLAMPERS
20170043453 · 2017-02-16 ·

A connector contains a body including: a first inserting orifice, a second inserting orifice, a first fixer, and a second fixer. The first inserting orifice is defined on a first end of the body, and the second inserting orifice is formed on a second end of the body opposite to the first end of the body, such that a connection rod for connecting two main woodworking clampers is inserted into the first inserting orifice and the second inserting orifice. The first fixer is inserted into the first inserting orifice from one side surface of the body to fix the connection rod, and the second fixer is inserted into the second inserting orifice from the one side surface of the body to position the connection rod more securely.

Centering feature in low profile clamp

The present invention relates to a low profile clamp in which one or both contact surfaces of upper and lower circumferential end portions have a non-flat and preferably complementary cross-sectional shape in the width direction of the band material. Thereby, sliding contact of the upper contact surface on the lower contact surface provides a self-centering effect of the band end portions during a band closing action.

Screw clamp

A screw clamp has two clamping arms, between which a workpiece is clamped. In a clamping process, at least one of the clamping arms is moved by an axial movement distance by a clamping unit such that a clamping force acting against the workpiece is built up, which clamping unit can be manually rotationally actuated about an axis of rotation. The clamping unit is a threaded drive containing a radially outer adjustment sleeve which has an internal screw thread and a radially inner threaded stroke element, the external screw thread of which is in thread engagement with the adjustment sleeve internal screw thread and which can be brought into force-transmitting connection with the movable clamping arm. In the clamping process, the adjustment sleeve is rotationally actuated, whereby the threaded stroke element, together with the clamping arm connected thereto, is moved against the workpiece by the axial movement distance.

Pliers 1 comprising fixed and sliding jaws 207, 300 operated by fixed and moving handles 200, 400 wherein a force triangle 800 is formed with its base 801 between the sliding jaw 300 pivot pin 600 and the pivotal strut 500 pivot pin 601, the triangles apex 802 formed within the pivotal strut outer end pivot bore 504. As the operator clenches CF the moving and fixed handle grips 408, 213 said force triangles apex 802 is propelled towards said triangle base 801, forcefully elongating said base 801, forcing the sliding jaw 300 towards the closed position, the sliding jaw 300 incorporates roller pins 600, 601 ensuring ease of movement upon the fixed head parallel rail 205. The fixed handle 200 incorporates two fold out arms 218, which can form part of a three legged base allowing use as a portable vice. The moving handle 400 can incorporate a further locking rocker switch 700 that can be utilised in both a switchable locking position or non-locking position upon a correspondingly toothed fan 505 within the pivotal strut 500 between said handles 200, 400.
