Chrome flush valve installation tool
A flush valve installation tool and associated method is used to install and uninstall chrome flush valves. The installation tool is capable of installing and uninstalling nuts of a variety of sizes without causing damage to the surfaces of the nuts. The flush valve installation tool has opposing first and second members coupled together by a pin or bolt. The first and second members each have two or more smooth jaw faces configured to engage 4 or 5 surfaces of a nut to be installed or uninstalled. The flush valve installation tool can be adjusted to select the distance between opposing jaw faces to accommodate different sized nuts.
Adjustable pliers with thread-engaging means
The adjustable pliers with thread-engaging means comprises water pump pliers and a thread-engaging means. The water pump pliers may be slip joint pliers whose fulcrum may be moved to modify the distance that the plier's jaws may open. The jaws may be angled with respect to a central axis of the water pump pliers. The thread-engaging means may comprise opposing arcuate grooves that are longitudinally oriented on a first jaw and on a second jaw. The thread-engaging means may be operable to grasp a threaded element that is held between the first jaw and the second jaw and is laterally oriented relative to the water pump pliers without damaging threads of the threaded element. As non-limiting examples, the threaded element may be a bolt, a screw, or a threaded rod.

Dual-Mode Adjustable Pliers
Dual-mode adjustable pliers include a first handle member including a first handle and a first jaw and a second handle member including a second handle and a second jaw. The pliers may also include a channel disposed in the first handle member and an adjustable pivot affixed to the second handle member and disposed within the channel. The pliers may also include a movable mode selector member. In an engaged position, the mode selector member is engaged with both the first handle member and the second handle member, and, as the second handle is moved towards the first handle, the adjustable pivot moves within the channel. In a disengaged position, the mode selector member is not engaged with both the first handle member and the second handle member, and, as the second handle is moved towards the first handle, the adjustable pivot maintains a position within the channel.

HAND TOOL
A hand tool includes a head comprising a pair of opposing jaws. Each jaw includes a cutting edge. The hand tool also includes a first handle and a second handle which pivot through a first plane to move the hand tool between an open position and a closed position. In some embodiments, the hand tool also includes a lock pivotable between a locked position and an unlocked position through a second plane distinct from the first plane. In some embodiments, the hand tool also includes a basket having a first basket section removably attached to one of the pair of jaws and a second basket section removably attached to the other of the pair of jaws

Switchable pliers and method for use
A pliers switchable for use with external snap-rings and internal snap-rings. The pliers has a first member with V-shape track, a second member with an aperture, and a switch mechanism. The second member and the switch mechanism are translatable along the V-shape track, and the switch mechanism is configured to engage and disengage the first and second members in and out of a locked position.

Clamp
A clamp, including a first clamp body and a second clamp body. The first clamp body includes a first clamp jaw and a first handle, movably connected to each other. The first clamp jaw is rotatably connected to the second clamp body at a first connecting position, and the first handle is rotatably connected to the second clamp body at a second connecting position. When the relative position of the first clamp jaw and the first handle is changed, a force occurs between the first clamp jaw and the first handle. A moment formed by the force with the first connecting position as a fulcrum is greater than a moment formed by the force with the second connecting position as a fulcrum.
