Pliers
A pliers has guiding surfaces at tooth portions of the first pliers body and tooth portions of the engaging unit of the control member. Therefore, when the pressing block of the control member is not pressed, even if the first pliers body is engaged with the tooth portions of the engaging unit, the second pliers body can still be pushed forward relative to the first pliers body, so that the second guiding surfaces of the second tooth portions of the engaging unit slide relative to the first guiding surfaces of the first tooth portions and each of the first tooth portions is moved to engage with a next corresponding second tooth portion, thereby allowing the second pliers portion being movable toward the first pliers portion. Hence, the clamping distance of the pliers can be adjusted to match with an object to be clamped.

PLIER WRENCH WITH REMOVABLE/REVERSIBLE JAW
A plier wrench is provided and includes a jaw that can be disengaged from the remainder of the wrench and reengaged with the remainder of the wrench while the remainder of the wrench remains in its fully assembled condition. In one form, the jaw is “reversible” and includes two different jaw surfaces that can be selectively utilized depending upon the type of workpiece that will be engaged by the plier wrench.

A tool jaw width adjustment structure includes a first plier body and a second plier body that cross each other. The first plier body has an elongated hole. One side of the elongated hole is provided with a toothed portion. The second plier body is provided with a cylindrical shaft inserting through the elongated hole. A distal end of the cylindrical shaft is provided with a side plate extending beyond one side of the toothed portion. A periphery of the cylindrical shaft is provided with a toothed block that is always meshed with the toothed portion. When the second plier body is pivotally opened relative to the first plier body, the toothed block is kept in mesh with the toothed portion, and the cylindrical shaft is driven to roll in the elongated hole from a first position to a second position, so as to increase the width of the jaw.
TOOL JAW WIDTH ADJUSTMENT STRUCTURE
A tool jaw width adjustment structure includes a first plier body and a second plier body that cross each other. The first plier body has an elongated hole. A pair of plumbing pliers includes two levers, a pawl and a torque spring. After adjusting the desired bite size according to a diameter of a pipe, the levers are pivoted relative to each other in a first range to clamp and release the pipe repeatedly to rotate the pipe. To adjust a bite size of the pair of plumbing pliers according to a diameter of another pipe, the levers are pivoted and then moved relative to each other in a second range. Little resistance is encountered in the first range. However, considerable resistance is encountered in the second range. Hence, the difference between the first and second ranges can easily be felt. Accordingly, it is not likely that a user will, by mistake, enter the second range, i.e., increase the bite size of the pair of plumbing pliers.

A pair of plumbing pliers includes two levers, a pawl and a torque spring.
