WOOD CLAMP WITH LATERAL SUPPORT MEMBER
Embodiments are directed to a wood clamp that grips two perpendicularly arranged boards. A pair of gripping elements having planar surfaces may define a gripping jaw that is moveable to grip a first board A lateral support member may extend from a spacer orthogonally from a longitudinal direction of the pair of gripping elements and may define a projection. The projection may be configured to prevent sliding of a second board supported by the lateral support member and abutting the first board. A lockable handle assembly coupled with the pair of gripping elements may be configured to manipulate an offset between the pair of gripping elements by moving at least one of the pair of gripping elements and locking a position of the planar surfaces to maintain the offset using a linkage.
Perpendicular Clamp System
A perpendicular clamp system includes a pair of pliers that are selectively manipulated to clamp an object or objects. The pliers are selectively positioned in an open position and a closed position. A tensioner is movably coupled between the pliers to adjust a clamping pressure of the pliers between a minimum pressure and a maximum pressure. A pair of jaws is provided and each of the jaws is coupled to the pliers. The jaws are oriented perpendicular to the pliers to clamp an object having the pliers being oriented perpendicular to the object.
Shower cartridge puller
A system for removal of Moen cartridges or cores and sleeves from plumbing valve bodies is facilitated with a tool having concave, cylindrical billed jaws on a vise-grip pair of pliers and a specially built extraction tool on the screw end of the vise-grip. The outer shape of the billed jaws matches the outer diameter of the cartridge's core. The tool's bills lock on the inner core of the cartridge. Ideally the inner core and outer sleeve will both be extracted with the tool's bills. When conditions are not ideal due to hardened or broken o-rings and corrosion, rotating the tool and cartridge are required to free them from the valve body. The Pasco stem and cartridge puller attached to the screw end of the vise-grips is used to extract the outer sleeve of the cartridge after the inner core has been removed.
PLIERS
A pliers is provided, including a main body, a slidable member, a swingable assembly and a clamp assembly. The slidable assembly is attached to the main body. The swingable assembly includes a swingable member and a connecting member, and the swingable member is pivoted to one of two ends of the slidable member and one of two ends of the connecting member. The clamp assembly includes a first clamp portion and a second clamp portion, and the first clamp portion is disposed on the slidable member.
Manual Clam Plug Connector
A manual clam plug connector to connect a plug connector, the manual clam plug connector including a vice-grip locking pliers disposed at a first end of the manual clam plug connector to be squeezed manually, and a connecting clam disposed at a second end of the manual clam plug connector to be squeezed in response to the vice-grip locking pliers being squeezed, such that a female connector end of the plug connector and a male connector end of the plug connector are brought together in response to the connecting clam being squeezed.
Tube clamping hand tool
A handheld clamping tool is provided that is adapted to clamp to and secure rounded work pieces, including lengths of tubing without damaging the same. The tool comprises a locking clamp embodiment and a plyer clamp embodiment, whereby the tool includes a pair of jaws with one or more semicircular apertures therealong that align to form rounded openings when the jaws are brought together. In one embodiment, the tool includes a movable jaw and a fixed jaw, along with a handle and grip that are lockable in a static state. Along the upper portion of the locking embodiment is a vice block in which the locking clamp can be held by a bench vice and the tool can support a tube without interaction by the user. In another embodiment, the tool comprises a pair of handles, a pair of jaws, and a fixed pivot point between the handles.
Drive mechanism for jaw actuated device
A linear ratchet drive mechanism operable single handedly for pivotally actuating one or more plier jaws in a diverging or converging direction for gripping objects under extreme pressure. A drive rod is received in a handle body for axial movement with one end of the drive rod pivotally linked to the jaw or jaws in order to actuate the jaws. An actuating lever is pivotally connected at one end to the handle body and extends from the handle body for single hand actuation by squeezing the lever against spring biased towards the handle body. The actuating lever is provided with a leverage arm that extends from the pivoting end of the actuating lever and is pivotally connected to a drive grip lever having an aperture surrounding the drive rod for binding against the drive rod for thereby driving the drive rod in one direction when the drive grip lever is canted and moved by squeezing the actuating lever. An incremental stop mechanism is also provided to quickly retain the jaw spacing after initial use of the device.
Slip Track K-Clamp
A vice grip type enhanced C-clamp modified to more easily grip the slip tracks on I-beams, comprising narrowed or tapered jaws to fit through the slots of a slip track.
PUSH-FIT DE-COUPLING TOOL
A novel de-coupling tool for push-fit connectors that employs a novel compression carousel including a parallel pair of clover-shaped discs slidably secured together by a central axle and a plurality of radially-spaced spindles, the discs being spring-biased apart by at least one spring. Each clover shaped disc is shaped with a plurality of radially-spaced open yokes of various sizes for capturing different sizes of push-fit couplings. The compression carousel is rotatable about the central axle to select an appropriately-sized pair of yokes depending on the size of the coupling. Both a vice-grip embodiment and a lever-operated embodiment are disclosed, in both cases that compress the opposing discs together.
Clamping device with removable handles
A clamping device has a clamp and a removable handle. A pair of clamping arms is on the clamp. A pivoting device includes a clamp bushing linked with each of the clamping arms of the pair of clamping arms to move the pair of arms between an opened and closed position. The removable handle couples with the clamp bushing. The removable handle includes a release mechanism to actuate the pivot mechanism to move the clamping arms between the open and clamped positions.
