A double-sided, detachable tool includes a first tool half and a second tool half. The first tool half has a first tool head on a first end, a first stepped profile on a bottom surface, and a latch protruding from the bottom surface. The second tool half has a second tool head on its first end, a second stepped profile on its bottom surface, and a latching aperture extending through the second tool half from its top side to the bottom side. The latch is inserted into the latching aperture to connect the first tool half to the second tool half and is removed from the latching aperture to detach the first tool half from the second tool half. The transitions from the stepped profiles to the seconds ends of the tool halves create a substantially flush surface therebetween.

The multipurpose tool also includes a modular hammer and other tool features, some of which are configured to operate on a firearm for its disassembly and reassembly.

A multipurpose tool that includes a handle and a body. The body has an opening that extends through the body and has a first set of pins that are removably connected to the body. The first set of pins are arranged along and adjacent to at least a portion of the perimeter of the opening and project away from the first side of the body. The multipurpose tool also includes a modular hammer and other tool features, some of which are configured to operate on a firearm for its disassembly and reassembly.

A hand tool for providing a hand tool for providing a multiple angle adjusting wrench according to the present invention. The wrench includes the three segments: an open wrench segment, a center section segment, and a closed wrench segment. It also includes two pivot points where the wrench segments are coupled to the center section segment. A gear-spring combination is used to lock the segments into a desired orientation while permitting easy reconfiguration of the wrench.

A hand tool for providing a hand tool for providing a multiple angle adjusting wrench according to the present invention. The wrench includes the three segments: an open wrench segment, a center section segment, and a closed wrench segment. It also includes two pivot points where the wrench segments are coupled to the center section segment. A hand tool includes a first driving element, a second driving element and at least one connecting element. The first driving element includes a first driving portion and a first staggered portion. The first driving portion is connected to the first staggered portion integrally. The second driving element does not contact the first driving element and includes a second driving portion and a second staggered portion. The second driving portion is connected to the second staggered portion integrally. The connecting element connects the first staggered portion and the second staggered portion, wherein the connecting element is made of insulating material.

A plier wrench is provided and includes a jaw that can be disengaged from the remainder of the wrench and reengaged with the remainder of the wrench while the remainder of the wrench remains in its fully assembled condition. In one form, the jaw is “reversible” and includes two different jaw surfaces that can be selectively utilized depending upon the type of workpiece that will be engaged by the plier wrench.

A wrench combination device includes three open-jawed wrench sockets. A first open jawed wrench socket is at one end of the device, and a second open jawed wrench socket, which is substantially identical to the first, is at an extreme opposite end. A third open jawed wrench socket is centered between and is inline with the first and second open-jawed wrench sockets, and has two portals. The first portal is open at two opposite ends and extends normal to a plane passing through the first and second open jawed wrench sockets. The second portal opens on one side of the third socket and extends in the plane passing through the first and second open jawed wrench sockets.

A wrench combination device includes three open-jawed wrench sockets. A first open jawed wrench socket is at one end of the device, and a second open jawed wrench socket, which is substantially identical to the first, is at an extreme opposite end. A third open jawed wrench socket is centered between and is inline with the first and second open-jawed wrench sockets, and has two portals. The first portal is open at two opposite ends and extends normal to a plane passing through the first and second open jawed wrench sockets. The second portal opens on one side of the third socket and extends in the plane passing through the first and second open jawed wrench sockets.
