MULTIPURPOSE HAND TOOLS AND TOOL HANDLES
The present invention relates to tools with wrenches and sockets recessed into the sides of the tool handles. The handles can be of any shape and applicable to any tool that uses a handle. Each side of a handle can contain a socket or wrench of different size so that one tool can include a complete set of sockets or wrenches.
Dual purpose flip-out and T handle
A dual purpose flip-out and T handle ratchet is able to be used in an L or modified L-handle orientation as well as a T handle orientation. The dual purpose flip-out and T handle includes a handle portion and a ratchet head and neck portion. The handle portion is coupled to the neck portion at a lockable hinge. The hinge allows the head and neck portion to rotate to an L or modified L-handle orientation or to a T handle orientation. When properly oriented the tool is able to be used to tighten or loosen objects such as screws or bolts.
Power tool housing construction
An apparatus is disclosed including a motor housing structured to receive at least a portion of an electric motor, a tool housing including a first half and a second half, wherein the tool housing defines an end taper, a tool attachment in mechanical communication with the electric motor, and a retention member including an inner taper structured to interface with the end taper of the tool housing to resist relative motion between the tool housing and the motor housing.
UNIVERSAL RATCHETING TOOL
A universal ratcheting tool provides improved handling of tools that are difficult to use on their own, specifically, hexagonal wrenches. The universal ratcheting tool includes a handle and a body with a ratcheting mechanism within the handle. The body includes a first aperture for receiving a tool, and the first aperture includes slots to accept a plurality of sizes of tools. The body also includes a second aperture where the tool extends out of the body. A retaining component is coupled with the body to retain the tool and a retaining tab is able to be used to open and close the retaining component. Once the tool is positioned and retained within the universal ratcheting tool, a user is able to easily install or remove an object such as a screw with the benefit of a comfortable handle and the ease of use of the ratcheting mechanism.
RATCHET WRENCH
A ratchet wrench includes a tubular body, a ratchet unit, a driving head, a control unit and a connection unit. The ratchet unit is operated in either rotation mode or spinning mode. The control unit controls the ratchet unit to rotate clockwise or counter clockwise. The connection unit is connected with a tool. When the body is rotated, the ratchet unit drives the driving head to rotate an object connected to the driving head. When the tool is span relative to the body, the ratchet unit also drives the driving head to rotate an object.
Ratchet having an output shaft which can be displaced to and fro
A screw tool having a gear head, which has a freewheel gear, having an output shaft, which is inserted in a non-rotatable but displaceable manner in an output opening and can be moved to and fro between a right-hand screw position and a left-hand screw position in each case by use of axial displacement, wherein in each case a different end section of the output shaft projects out of the gear head, having at least one locking mechanism to secure the position of the output shaft in the respective screw position and/or around a screw output element on the output shaft. As a development which is advantageous for use, the at least one locking mechanism can be moved from a locking position to a release position by pressure on an actuation element arranged on the end face of the output shaft.
Socket wrench extension with flange
An extension for use with a socket wrench is provided. A drive socket is at a first end of the extension. A hexagonal drive surrounds the drive socket and extends from the first end of the extension towards a second end of the extension. A flange with a knurled edge is at a second end of the hexagonal drive. A tool gripping flange is between the flange with the knurled edge and the second end of the extension. A male drive is at the second end of the extension.
Screwdriver with a tool gripping flange
A screwdriver with a tool gripping flange is provided. The tool gripping flange includes a pair of perpendicular, longitudinally elongated pry slots that intersect along a longitudinal axis of the screwdriver's shaft.
