Methods and systems for increasing the efficiency of a remote wrench
Methods and systems for increasing the efficiency of a remote wrench. The remote wrench can include a flexible plate within the tool housing or as part of the housing that is more flexible than the rigid housing in conventional remote wrenches that has been shown to limit efficiency. Additionally, a fixed support and a base can be provided that are collectively capable of being coupled to the remote wrench, preferably at the flexible plate, to increase efficiency. The remote wrench operation is therefore improved by reducing inefficiencies and providing a maximum torque output.
Screw driver and head therefor
A screw head adapter, including a surrounding shaped envelope, being hex, square, etc., being adaptable to a standard key, ring, box wrench, including at its center, a bit, a flat-blade screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, hex, Allen wrench, having an adjustable or constant height, for connecting thereof to a standard key, box wrench, dedicated key, etc., adapted thereto and supported by a dedicated protrusion, being fastened to the box wrench by a mechanical, magnetic, etc. attaching means, for allowing, due to its short height, to easily open or close screw heads in narrow hidden regions, and to those having difficult or non-available access by other tools.
POWER TOOL ATTACHMENT PART
A power tool attachment part for a power tool includes an elongated housing including an upper housing part and a lower housing part interconnected with the upper housing part. An input gear wheel for connection to an output shaft of the power tool is arranged at a first end of the housing. An output gear wheel with an output connection is arranged at a second end of the housing. At least one intermediate gear wheel is arranged inside the housing to transmit rotation of the input gear wheel to the output gear wheel. A magnet is arranged in the elongated housing, wherein the magnet is arranged to collect ferromagnetic particles.
ATTACHMENT PART FOR A POWER TOOL AND A TOOL ASSEMBLY
An attachment part for a power tool includes an elongated housing including an upper housing part, a lower housing part and an interconnection structure that interconnects the upper and lower housing parts. An input gear for connection to an output shaft of a power tool is arranged at a first end of the housing. An output gear with an output interface is arranged at a second end of the housing. The interconnecting structure includes a sleeve member extending through a first central bore at the first end of the upper housing part, which sleeve member receives the input gear, and a fixation member extending through a second central bore at the first end of the lower housing part and which is arranged to be secured to the sleeve member to clamp the upper and lower housing parts. A tool assembly includes a power tool and the attachment part.
BASIN WRENCH
A multi-purpose hand tool system is described. The tool system includes a handle and one or more inserts that are releasably engaged with the handle. The tool system is useful for a variety of applications including use with basin and faucet hardware.
Offset torque drive apparatus and system
The present invention is an improved offset torque drive assembly and system having useful application for torqueing a fastener in an opening offset from a channel or other fasteners in inaccessible locations. The offset torque drive assembly and system comprises a housing formed in upper and lower enclosure portions that encompasses an input gear and an output gear there-between. The housing is characterized by a plurality of pin mounts connecting to a plurality of pins maintaining the input and output gears in the housing with sufficient space to operate in the drive assembly. The pins may be secured to the pin mounts by welding, adhesive and by a unitary, sealed housing formed with said pins providing spacing for operation of the gears.
Pipe Wrench
A wrench includes a body having a head and a handle portion defining a longitudinal axis. The wrench includes a first jaw coupled to the head with the first jaw including first teeth and an edge. The edge defines a width of the first jaw. The wrench includes a second jaw extending through an aperture of the head with the second jaw including a threaded portion and second teeth. The wrench includes an actuator coupled to the threaded portion of the second jaw such that rotation of the actuator relative to the second jaw moves the second teeth relative to the first teeth. A length is measured from the edge of the first jaw to the second end of the handle portion parallel to the longitudinal axis. A ratio of the width of the first jaw over the length is less than 0.06.
Borescope plug system
A borescope plug system includes a housing, a driver, and a spring. The housing includes a first housing end and a second housing end. The housing further includes a longitudinally extending centerline extending between the first housing end and the second housing end. The driver is disposed at least partially within the housing along the longitudinally extending centerline and includes a first driver end and a second driver end. The spring is disposed within the housing and couples the housing to the driver. The driver is configured to move within the housing, along the longitudinally extending centerline, to engage the first driver end with a borescope plug of a borescope plug port, and to install or remove the borescope plug from the borescope plug port based on a rotation of the driver about the longitudinally extending centerline.
Torque retaining apparatus and method of production
A torque retaining device for preventing unitary rotation of a nut and a fastener extending through two parts to be connected is provided. The torque retaining device includes an engagement portion for connection to one of the nut and a fastener head and an elongated portion for rotationally catching on one of the parts that the fastener is to be extended through. The engagement portion includes a wall having an inner side that defines a cavity for placement of the fastener head or nut and is shaped rotate with the fastener head or nut. At least one flexible member extends radially inwardly from the inner side of the wall for holding the fastener head or nut in the engagement portion.
Notched line runner socket
A socket assembly includes a socket head, an input member, and a plurality of transfer members. The socket head is disposed about an axis and defines an aperture extending axially through the socket head and through a side of the socket head. The socket head includes external teeth. The input member is coaxial with the socket head. Each transfer member includes a first end drivingly coupled to the input member and a second end configured to engage the external teeth.
