Screw, screwdriver and screw fastening set, the screwdriver (1) comprising a screw engaging configuration (10) with a core (11) surrounded by a number of protruding longitudinal ribs (12) elongated in the longitudinal driver axis (DA) direction and radially distributed around the core (11) in radial symmetry, and wherein successive transversal cross-sections of the core (11), perpendicular to the longitudinal driver axis (DA), have a regular polygonal shape, longitudinal cross-sections of the core (11), coincident with the longitudinal driver axis (DA), have a convex shape, and each protruding longitudinal rib (12) is connected to the core (11) on an edge between two adjacent arched convex surfaces of the core, a central portion (13) of each side of the regular polygonal shape being exposed for coupling into a complementary flat surface of a driver engaging configuration of the screw, providing friction-retention between the screw and the screwdriver.

An anti-slip fastener driver includes a body, a driving portion and a twisting portion arranged between the body and the driving portion. The driving portion has a plurality of driving recesses and a plurality of sharp corners. A cross sectional area of one end of the twisting portion adjacent to the driving portion is less than that of the other end of the twisting portion adjacent to the body. The twisting portion has a plurality of twisting surfaces formed around an outer periphery thereof in the radial direction of the rotating axis, Each twisting surface has a short side and a long side. A projection line of the short side is not parallel to that of the long side on the reference plane.

Methods and apparatus for a fastener head having a dual zone socket area and a mating driver bit according to aspects of the present technology include a fastener configured with driving surfaces adapted to provide enhanced engagement between each other during use. The fastener includes a recessed socket area with a sidewall that has an upper inwardly tapering section and a lower vertical section that extends to the bottom of the recessed socket area. The upper inwardly tapering section of the sidewall may also include an offset relative to the lower vertical section to create asymmetrical driving and removal surfaces. The technology also includes a corresponding mating driver bit configured with mating surfaces to the fastener to provide enhanced engagement between the fastener and mating driver bit. The technology also allows either the fastener or the driving bit to be used with preexisting fasteners and driver bits.

A permanent magnet may be positioned within a portion of the handle member and may be used to secure a ferromagnetic fastener within a fastener retention recess formed within the fastener retention member, when the fastener retention member is engaged with the handle member.
Multi-Directional Driver Bit
A screw bit body allowing for torque force application onto a socket fastener. The screw bit body includes a plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls, a plurality of intermittent sidewalls, a first base, and a second base. The laterally-bracing sidewalls and plurality of intermittent sidewalls are radially distributed about a rotation axis of the screw bit body with each further including a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a bracing surface, and an engagement cavity. The engagement cavity creates a gripping point to prevent slippage in between the screw bit body and the socket fastener. The engagement cavity traverses normal and into the concave surface and the convex surface. The engagement cavity includes an angled driving portion and a concave portion. The angled driving portion is positioned adjacent to the first lateral edge with the concave portion being positioned opposite to the first lateral edge, across the angled driving portion.
Filing and fastener driving bit assembly
A filing and fastener driving bit assembly for deburring the end of a pipe includes a shaft that has a first end and a second end. A first section of the shaft that is positioned adjacent to the first end is hexagonally shaped. The first section is insertable into a chuck of a rotary tool to couple the shaft to the rotary tool. A second section of the shaft that is positioned between the first section and a second end of the shaft is textured. The second section is used to file an edge of a tubular substrate, such as Electrical Metallic Tubing, as the shaft is rotated by the rotary tool. A screwdriver tip that is coupled to the second end of the shaft is insertable into a complementary head of a fastener, positioning a user to utilize the rotary tool to drive the fastener.
Length adjustable connection structure
A length adjustable connection structure contains: an adjustment assembly, an engagement assembly, and a receiving tube. The receiving tube includes an insertion accommodated, a coupling portion, a groove, a trench, and an elongated slot. The engagement assembly includes a fixing portion, a toothed portion, a fitting portion, a hexagonal hole, and a circular hole. The adjustment assembly includes a connector, a locating orifice, a hexagonal column, and a C-retainer. The hexagonal column of the adjustment assembly is received in the hexagonal hole of the engagement assembly so that the engagement assembly is connected on the hexagonal column, the C-retainer is engaged in the notch of the hexagonal column, and the adjustment assembly and the engagement assembly are accommodated in the receiving tube, hence the toothed portion of the fixing portion is engaged in the groove of the coupling portion, and the fitting portion is fixed in the trench.
