Ratcheting screwdriver assembly
11772244 · 2023-10-03 ·

A ratcheting screwdriver assembly includes a handle and a lever that is pivotally disposed on the handle. The lever is urgeable into an engaged position and the lever is biased into a disengaged movement. A shaft is rotatably disposed in the handle. A plurality of bits is provided and a respective one of the bits is insertable into the shaft to engage a respective type of fastener. A direction selector is movably integrated into the lever and the direction selector is in mechanical communication when the shaft. The direction selector is positionable in a tightening condition to tighten the fastener when the lever is urged into the engaged position. The direction selector is positionable in a loosening condition to loosen the fastener when the lever is urged into the engaged position.

Flexible finger connection

A latch and catch arrangement is disclosed, whereby a sleeve supporting a flexible hinge with an extended finger is oriented over a fluid connection to a socket guide. The sleeve is oriented to the tool collar to place a flexible hinge and finger over the bearing guide. The finger moves upward when a tool is inserted into a tool socket, and the flexible hinge, properly oriented by the alignment catch/latch, keeps the finger in the tool socket while allowing necessary movement to insert and remove a tool.

MULTIPLE PAWL RATCHET MECHANISM

A ratchet comprises a head portion with a circular central housing having modular inserts in the form of three flat ring like layers, two outer fixed ramped profile layers engaged into housing locking profiles with a sequential actuating layer capable of limited rotation between. Opposing direction pawls are situated within the fixed layer ramped profiles. The actuating layer has engagement and disengagement profiles at either end of its pawl recesses projecting the incumbent pawls against the fixed layer ramped profiles in the chosen direction projecting them inwards locking the pawl teeth within the driven element teeth, whilst simultaneously disengaging the pawls facing the other direction. The actuating layer biasing protrusion resiliently projected in the chosen direction by a robust sprung plunger acting from within a switch bore, in the reverse direction the actuating layer resiliently rotates against said sprung plunger allowing the pawl teeth to resiliently slide over one another.

A multi-tool assembly includes a grip and a receiver that is extendable through the grip. The receiver has a first half pivotally coupled to a second half thereby facilitating the receiver to be bent into a plurality of angles. A plurality of bits is provided and each of the bits is insertable into a respective one of the first wells or the second wells for storage. Each of the bits is positionable into the receiver to tighten or loosen a fastener. A ratchet is integrated into the grip and the ratchet engages the receiver when the receiver is extended through the grip. The ratchet facilitates the grip to ratchet around the receiver in either a first direction or a second direction. In this way the grip can be rotated back and forth around the receiver for tightening or loosening the fastener.

RATCHET DRIVEN SCREWDRIVER WITH BITS STORAGE
20220219294 · 2022-07-14 ·

A ratchet driven screwdriver with bits storage has a body. A ratchet driving device has a ratchet, a lever, a ratchet housing, a ratchet spring, two L-shaped ratchets, a steel ball and a compression spring. A bits storage has a spring seat, two torsion springs, a storage tube, an axis column, and a bits box. When replacing the bits, the back cover is pulled to drive the storage tube. Currently, a pressure of the two torsion springs can extend to a tapered end of the axis column to release a vertical force, and the back cover is pulled apart. The two torsion springs extend to the other end of the axis column, and the vertical force can make the bits box pushed to the open state and locked, so that an alternate screwdriver bit can be selected with turning the back cover.

Screwdriver Tool with a Gear Ratio
20220097214 · 2022-03-31 ·

A screwdriver tool including a gear ratio arranged in a handle for multiplying a rotation angle transmitted from the hand to a blade protruding from the handle. A blocking element can be rotated from a release position, in which a first handle section can be rotated relative to a second handle section for the purpose of quick-action screwing, into a blocking position, in which a blocking element secures the blade to the handle in a rotationally fixed manner. The switching between the release position and the blocking position occurs by means of a push-button arranged in the tip of the handle, which is moved back into its starting position in a spring-loaded manner after being actuated.
