AIR IMPACT SCREW GUN SYSTEM AND METHOD
20200156222 · 2020-05-21 ·

A light weight pneumatic screw gun. The screw gun may connect to an air compressor for installing metal roofing and wood screws in building structures. The screw gun may include a drive and include means for up to 550 feet of torque. Further, the screw gun may provide a smoother impact with a double hammer and a different shape structure than conventional screw guns. The prior art devices appear to fail to singly provide your disclosed light weight pneumatic screw gun, drive, 550 feet of torque, and double hammer in functional combination.

ROTATING GRIP FOR A PNEUMATIC TOOL

An air tool comprising a barrel; a main body portion from which the barrel extends; a sleeve secured to an exterior of the barrel, the sleeve connected to the barrel by a retaining ring wherein the sleeve provides for a gripping location by an operator and wherein the retaining ring facilitates rotation of the sleeve relative to the barrel when the tool is operation.

Power tool component position sensing

Position sensing related to a component within a power tool. The component within the power tool is, for example, a hammer of an impact mechanism and can include one or more sensible features that allow a controller of the power tool to precisely determine the position, speed, and acceleration of the component. One or more sensors can be used to determine the rotational position of the hammer and the axial position of the hammer. The rotational position of the hammer can then be used to calculate, for example, rotational speed and acceleration of the hammer. With precise determinations of the rotational and axial position of the hammer, the controller of the power tool is able to precisely time the impact between the hammer and the anvil to optimize the impact between the hammer and the anvil (e.g., to maximize energy transfer between the hammer and the anvil).

BATTERY POWERED IMPACT WRENCH

An impact wrench is provided with a battery to power the motor. The impact wrench provides improved portability since the impact wrench does not need to be connected to an electrical extension cord or a pneumatic hose. The output drive, motor, batteries and main handle may be aligned along the axial direction of the tool. The batteries may be located between the motor and the main handle.

IMPACT TOOL AND DUST COLLECTION SYSTEM

An impact tool includes a housing, an impact mechanism unit, a motor, and a dust collection fan. The housing is configured to mount a dust collection attachment. The impact mechanism unit is disposed inside the housing. The impact mechanism unit has a front end to which a tool bit is mounted and an impact element that reciprocates. The impact mechanism unit is configured to impact the tool bit by the impact element. The motor is disposed such that a rotation shaft of the motor intersects with an impact axis direction of the impact mechanism unit inside the housing. The dust collection fan is disposed on the rotation shaft. The dust collection fan is disposed below the motor.

IMPACT TOOLS AND CONTROL MODES

An impact power tool includes a housing, a motor, a controller, an output member configured to be rotated when the motor is energized, and an impact mechanism configured to rotationally drive the output member. The impact mechanism is configured to selectively apply rotational impacts to the output member when a torque on the output member exceeds a torque threshold. The controller is configured to control the motor during a first phase of operation with open loop control and a baseline conduction band and advance angle setting when a sensed tool operation parameter is one of above or below a threshold value. The controller is configured to control the motor during a second phase of operation with closed speed loop control and an increased conduction band and advance angle setting when the sensed tool operation parameter is the other of above or below the threshold value.

BATTERY PACK, ELECTRIC DEVICE USING BATTERY PACK, AND ELECTRIC DEVICE SYSTEM

An electrical device body connectable to a battery pack, includes a drive part, and a terminal part. The terminal part having a positive input terminal electrically connected to the drive part, a negative input terminal electrically connected to the drive part, and a short circuit element having a first terminal part, a second terminal part, and a connection part connecting the first terminal part and the second terminal part, wherein the positive input terminal and the negative input terminal are disposed on an upper side of the terminal part and the short circuit element is disposed on a lower side of the terminal part in an upper-lower direction, the positive input terminal and the negative input terminal being apart from each other in a left-right direction crossing the upper-lower direction.

IMPACT CONTACT SURFACE SHAPE OF AN IMPACT WRENCH

An impact contact surface shape of an impact wrench. The impact wrench comprises a rotary shaft that acts on the workpiece and an impact block sleeved on the rotary shaft to drive the rotary shaft to rotate. One end of the rotary shaft is at least configured with a stopping block to collide with the impact block. The impact block is at least configured with a locking block to collide with the stopping block. The impact contact surface comprises: at least one first contact surface located on the stopping block to contact and press the locking block and at least one second contact surface located on the locking block to contact and press the first contact surface. The first contact surface and the second contact surface are intermeshing arc shapes or cycloid shapes.
