Disclosed screwdrivers may include an angled tip portion that is angled with respect to the longitudinal direction, and a mechanism configured to transfer a rotational force applied to the drive portion of the drive shaft through the angled tip portion to the drive end of the drive shaft. Disclosed screwdrivers may include an elastic retaining clip configured to have a bone screw securely attached therein at a clipping force and progressively release the bone screw therein at an extraction force. Disclosed screwdrivers may include at least one spring contacting the elastic retaining clip and the angled tip portion that is configured to facilitate the progressive release of the bone screw.
Electric pulse tool
An electric pulse tool for performing tightening operations, where torque is delivered in pulses to tighten a screw joint, includes an output shaft, a sensor arranged to determine a parameter value associated with the tightening of the screw joint, a processor, and a memory containing instructions executable by the processor. The electrical pulse tool operates to provide torque pulses on the output shaft in a first direction until the determined parameter value associated with the tightening of the screw joint reaches within or above a predetermined first interval including a target parameter value. The electrical pulse tool also operates to provide at least one torque pulse on the output shaft in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction in case the determined parameter value exceeds the target parameter value within a predetermined second interval.
TORQUE ENHANCING APPARATUS
The torque enhancing apparatus including a first socket and a second socket coupled to the first socket, including an extendable moment arm. The torque enhancing apparatus includes a ball pivotably and captively held between the first socket and the second socket. The torque enhancing apparatus may include one or more extendable moment arms. The extendable moment arm or arms are configured such that they provide a mechanical advantage for moving the first socket and the second socket relative to one another. The torque enhancing apparatus may include a first socket, a second socket coupled to the first socket including four extendable moment arms. The torque enhancing apparatus including a ball pivotably held between the first socket and the second socket.
UNIVERSAL JOINT
A universal joint includes a first joint member having a first end to which a second joint member is coupled and a second end to which a third joint member is coupled. The first and the second joint members are pivotally connected with each other about a first axis of rotation. The first and third joint member are pivotally connected with each other about a second axis of rotation. A retaining device which includes a first resilient member and a first retainer working cooperatively for preventing inadvertent relative movements between the first and the second joint members. The first retainer is urged by the first resilient member.
TOOL JOINT
A tool joint is provided, including a main body, a swingable member and a locking structure. The main body has a connecting channel. The swingable member is disposed on the main body. A driving rod is disposed through the swingable member and movable between a first position and a second position. When the driving rod is in the first position, the driving rod is out of the connecting channel, the swingable member is swingable relative to the main body. When the driving rod is in the second position, the driving rod projects within the connecting channel and the swingable member is non-swingable relative to the main body.
Angle driven access tool
An angle drive socket tool that provides interchangeable multi-angular socket for inserting a tool. A drive shaft has a driver engagement end and a magnetic enabled concave fastener receiving end with retainment and drive engagement pins. A driver component having a spherical insert end with a drive pin engagement channel extending there about an oppositely disposed drive configured input end, such as a hex socket suitable to drive a fastener of choice as illustrated in the preferred embodiment.
TOOL QUICK-RELEASE MECHANISM
A tool quick-release mechanism includes a body having a guiding hole extending along a longitudinal axis, a control hole, and a coupling hole. Each of the control hole and the coupling hole intercommunicates with the guiding hole, extends in a radial direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, and extends through a sidewall of the body. A control member is movably received in the control hole. A coupling member is movably received in the coupling hole and is operatively connected to a guiding member movably received in the guiding hole. A biasing member is disposed between the guiding hole and the guiding member. When the control member moves in the control hole, the guiding member is actuated to resist a biasing force of the biasing member, and the coupling member selectively protrudes beyond the coupling hole in response to movement of the guiding member in the guiding hole.
Multi-section universal tool
A multi-section universal tool includes an assembling member, a connecting member, a working member and two elastic members. The assembling member has an assembling portion and a first receiving room. The connecting member includes a connecting ball joint and a second receiving room. The connecting ball joint includes a connecting elastic abutting member which has a tendency to radially move outwardly. The connecting ball joint is inserted into the first receiving room and movable relative to the first receiving room to be in a first connecting position or a second connecting position. The working member includes a working ball joint including a working elastic abutting member which has a tendency to radially move outwardly. The working ball joint is inserted into the second receiving room and movable relative to the second receiving room to be in a first working position or a second working position.
SCREW DRIVER AND COMPLIMENTARY SCREWS
Disclosed screwdrivers may include a rotatable drive shaft having a drive portion disposed at a distal end thereof, and a drive end disposed at a proximal end thereof.
EXPANDABLE INTER-BODY DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present disclosure provides for spinal implants deployable between a contracted position and an expanded position. The spinal implant may include a first endplate and a second endplate, each having a plurality of guide walls and inclined ramps. The spinal implant may further include a moving mechanism having first and second trolleys configured to act against the first and second plurality of ramps. The expansion mechanism may further include a first set screw and a second set screw opposite the first set screw. The moving mechanism may be configured to operably adjust a spacing between the first and second endplates upon simultaneous rotation of the first and second set screws along a rotation axis, and may also operably adjust an angle of inclination between the first and second endplates upon rotating the first set screw or second set screw along the rotation axis.
