The foot includes a rotatable foot part with a driven member and a base part to support the rotatable foot part on a floor or supporting surface. The tool and the foot are complementarily adapted to releasably maintain engagement between the driving member and the driven member to allow the driving member to drive the driven member to rotate the rotatable foot part about a longitudinal axis of the leg for height adjustment of the leg.
MULTI-SECTION UNIVERSAL TOOL
A multi-section universal tool includes an assembling member, a connecting member, a working member and two elastic members. The assembling member has an assembling portion and a first receiving room. The connecting member includes a connecting ball joint and a second receiving room. The connecting ball joint includes a connecting elastic abutting member which has a tendency to radially move outwardly. The connecting ball joint is inserted into the first receiving room and movable relative to the first receiving room to be in a first connecting position or a second connecting position. The working member includes a working ball joint including a working elastic abutting member which has a tendency to radially move outwardly. The working ball joint is inserted into the second receiving room and movable relative to the second receiving room to be in a first working position or a second working position.
UNIVERSAL SOCKET STRUCTURE
A universal socket structure includes a female seat, a joint member, at least one engaging member, and an elastic member. A coupling end the female seat is recessed to form an accommodating trough. Two opposite sides of the accommodating trough are formed with grooves extending along an axial direction of the female seat. The female seat has at least one coupling portion. The joint member has one end formed with a spherical head. Two opposite sides of the spherical head has protrusions protruding from an outer periphery of the spherical head. The spherical head is accommodated in the accommodating trough. The protrusions are accommodated in the grooves. The engaging member is disposed in the coupling portion and movable from the coupling portion toward the accommodating trough. The elastic member is disposed in the accommodating trough for pushing and supporting the spherical head to engage with the engaging member.
FLEXIBLE HEAD JOINTS FOR CORDLESS RATCHET TOOLS
A flexible head joint for a tool, such as a motorized ratcheting-type tool. The flexible joint also allows an output mechanism of the tool, such as a ratchet head, to be disposed at an angle with respect to a housing to the tool, which houses a motor. For example, the first shaft is pivotably coupled to a first connector, which may have a tongue shaped portion. The second shaft is pivotably coupled to a second connector, which may have a slotted portion adapted to receive the tongue portion. This provides two pivot points that have parallel axes.
TWO-STAGE UNIVERSAL JOINT
A two-stage universal joint includes a sleeve member, a driving member, and an elastic member. The sleeve member defines an axial direction and has a sleeve portion and a connection portion. The sleeve portion has a receiving groove having plural positioning protrusions extending axially on an inner wall thereof. One of the positioning protrusions has a recessed portion. The driving portion has a polygonal ball-joint having plural arc-face sections. The polygonal ball-joint is inserted into the receiving groove. The driving member is slidable with respect to the sleeve member between a first position and a second position. The polygonal ball-joint has a biasing member tending to move outward.
Engaging portion for a hand tool
A hand tool includes a body which is a cylindrical body and has a hexagonal mounting portion defined in one end thereof. The mounting portion includes six side faces, and each side face includes a function portion which is connected between two contact faces. Six curved recess are defined alternatively between the side faces. Each function portion includes two consecutive V-shaped recesses. The first length is defined between two respective outer ends of the two contact faces of each side face. The mounting hole is defined by an imaginary hexagonal column which includes an axis and six sides. Each side of the imaginary hexagonal column is located corresponding to each contact face. The length of each side is defined as the third length. The first length is 0.5 to 0.65 of the third length.
MULTI-SECTION UNIVERSAL TOOL
A multi-section universal tool includes an assembling member, a connecting member, a working member and two elastic members. The assembling member has an assembling portion and a first receiving room. The connecting member includes a connecting ball-joint and a second receiving room. The connecting ball-joint includes a connecting elastic abutting member which has a tendency to radially move outwardly. The connecting ball-joint is inserted into the first receiving room and movable relative to the first receiving room to be in a first connecting position or a second connecting position. The working member includes a working ball joint including a working elastic abutting member which has a tendency to radially move outwardly. The working ball-joint is inserted into the second receiving room and movable relative to the second receiving room to be in a first working position or a second working position.
Attachment and fastening tool
An attachment includes a planetary reducer, a reaction force receiving member, and a universal joint. The planetary reducer has a first output shaft and a second output shaft connectable to a socket. The reaction force receiving member is connected to the first output shaft and has an arm part for contact with an external contact object. The universal joint has an input-side end part connectable to a final output shaft of a fastening tool and an output-side end part connected to the planetary reducer. The reaction force receiving member is configured to rotate integrally with the first output shaft in a direction opposite to the second output shaft by a reaction force caused by rotation of the socket. The universal joint is configured to transmit the torque inputted from the final output shaft via the input-side end part, to the planetary reducer via the output-side end part.
Driving Tool with Universal Rotating Structure
A driving tool with universal rotating structure includes a first drive joint member and a second drive joint member. The first drive joint member defines a compartment and at least one slot. The first end of the at least one slot includes is in communication with the compartment. The at least one slot extends through an outer periphery of the first drive joint member. The at least one slot includes a retaining member movably disposed therein. The outer periphery of the first drive joint member includes an enclosing ring disposed thereon. The enclosing ring is elastic and includes an inner periphery abutting against a side of the retaining member. The second drive joint member includes a head rotatably coupled to the first drive joint member. The head is disposed in the compartment. The head extends from a first end to a second end concavely along a second axis.
WELL ACCESS TOOL
A tool for gaining lateral access to a well includes a head portion configured to advance axially forwardly relative to a lateral access passage. The tool includes a first shaft and a shaft assembly including a second shaft. The second shaft is at least partly received in the first shaft so as to be axially forwardly moveable therewith. In use, axial forward movement of the first and second shafts causes forward advancement of the head portion. The second shaft is axially forwardly moveable relative to the first shaft. The first shaft includes an internal thread and the shaft assembly includes an external thread engaging the internal thread of the first shaft so that relative rotation of the internal and external threads causes the axial forward movement of the second shaft relative to the first shaft without rotation of the second shaft relative to the first shaft.
