A multi-section universal tool includes an assembling member, a connecting member, a working member and two elastic members. The assembling member has an assembling portion and a first receiving room. The connecting member includes a connecting ball joint and a second receiving room. The connecting ball joint includes a connecting elastic abutting member which has a tendency to radially move outwardly. The connecting ball joint is inserted into the first receiving room and movable relative to the first receiving room to be in a first connecting position or a second connecting position. The working member includes a working ball joint including a working elastic abutting member which has a tendency to radially move outwardly. The working ball joint is inserted into the second receiving room and movable relative to the second receiving room to be in a first working position or a second working position.

A telescopic tool includes a positioning device mounted between first and second rods. The first rod includes a longitudinal hole extending along a longitudinal axis, a first positioning hole intercommunicating with the longitudinal hole, and a first gripping portion. The second rod is movably received in the longitudinal hole, includes a plurality of second positioning holes, and is movable relative to the first rod along the longitudinal axis to align the first positioning hole with one of the plurality of second positioning holes. A switch controller is movable relative to the first rod and is movably coupled to a positioning member. The positioning member movably extends through the first hole and is releasably engaged in one of the plurality of second positioning holes in response to movement of the switch controller relative to the first rod. A fixing member includes a second gripping portion mounted around the first rod.

A tool adapted for use with a diffuser cartridge and a fluid container, wherein the tool is adapted to facilitate insertion and removal of the diffuser cartridge to and from the fluid container. The diffuser cartridge contains mineral agent beads or other materials which can enhance the quality of fluid contained within the container.

Installation tools systems and methods for use with an elongated adapter. The elongated adapters have a proximal end and a distal end; and a driver which generates torque mounted to a first end of the elongated adapter; a torque transfer unit engaging the elongated adapter and the driver to transfer torque produced by said driver to a fastener. Fastener installation tools engaging the distal end of the elongated adapter include a first member wherein the first member has a distal end and two projection elements positioned in a plane and a channel between the projection elements further wherein at least one of the first members has a notch at a distal end on a channel-facing side, a positioning member formed integrally with the first member wherein the positioning member has a linear marker on a first side, an angled marker on a second side, and a rocker positioned between the angled marker and the channel.

A wrench, connectable to a standard square shaped extension, has a wrench head with opposed jaw faces which together define a plane that lies perpendicular to the respective jaw faces. A standard square shaped extension socket is affixed to the wrench head, where a standard square shaped extension can be inserted into the standard extension socket, along a direction that is non-orthogonal to the transverse plane. The standard extension socket can be attached to a frame of the wrench head, or to a rotatable guide which controls movement the opposed jaw face which is movable.

A tool kit is provided that includes a tool including a handle and a tool head and a set of tool accessories configured to be coupled to the tool head. The tool accessories each including a drive end that is configured to be coupled to the tool head and a working end opposite the drive end. The tool kit includes a container that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The container includes a first portion including a first retainer that supports the tool, a second portion and a middle portion dividing the first portion from the second portion. The middle portion including a second retainer that supports the tool accessories and the container is selectively stored in a closed position where the middle portion supports the container on a surface in an upright position.

Illustrative embodiments of tool extensions and methods of using such tool extensions are disclosed. In at least one illustrative embodiment, a tool extension may comprise a drive core configured to transfer rotational torque from a first end to a second end opposite the first end, where the first end is configured to be removably coupled to a tool to receive rotational torque from the tool, the second end is configured to be removably coupled to a fastener to supply rotational torque to the fastener, and the drive core is bendable between the first and second ends. The tool extension may further comprise a shell surrounding the drive core and containing an electro-rheological (ER) fluid configured to transition between a flexible state in which the shell permits bending of the drive core and a rigid state in which the shell resists bending of the drive core.

A method of illuminating a target area and driving rotation a driven tool comprises coupling a light attachment assembly to an elongated extension member by placing a portion of the elongated extension member within a hollow portion of a sheath of the light attachment assembly. Activating a light source of the light attachment assembly. Positioning the driven tool within the target area while grasping the light attachment assembly. Driving rotation of both the driven tool and the elongated extension member while grasping the light attachment assembly when the driven tool is positioned within the target are such that the portion of the elongated extension member housed within the hollow portion of the sheath rotates relative to the light assembly.

The invention involves a tool, which includes a tool body with first and second flanged portion spaced apart by a first upper cable opening, and a ring positioned proximate thereto. A socket drive assembly for rotating a fastener with 360.0 degrees of rotation includes a wrench that has a first end and a second end. A socket drive is coupled to the wrench and the socket drive extends along an axis that is oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the wrench. The socket drive includes a inch drive and a inch drive for engaging either a socket or a socket. A handle is removably coupled to the wrench and the handle is oriented to rotate about an axis is oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the wrench. In this way the handle facilitates the wrench to be rotated 360.0 degrees around a fastener that is loosened or tightened.
