POWER TOOL
A power tool includes a main housing, a drive mechanism, a working head, and a connection assembly. The connection assembly includes an input portion connected to the drive mechanism and an output portion connected to an output shaft. The connection assembly rotates the working head about a first axis relative to the main housing. The power tool includes a first transmission path. When the working head rotates about the first axis relative to the main housing, components in the first transmission path are allowed to deform or to be displaced along a direction of the first transmission path.
Expandable inter-body device, system and method
The present disclosure provides for spinal implants deployable between a contracted position and an expanded position. The spinal implant may include a first endplate and a second endplate, each having a plurality of guide walls and inclined ramps. The spinal implant may further include a moving mechanism having first and second trolleys configured to act against the first and second plurality of ramps. The expansion mechanism may further include a first set screw and a second set screw opposite the first set screw. The moving mechanism may be configured to operably adjust a spacing between the first and second endplates upon simultaneous rotation of the first and second set screws along a rotation axis, and may also operably adjust an angle of inclination between the first and second endplates upon rotating the first set screw or second set screw along the rotation axis.
Torque wrench
A torque wrench has a hollow tubular body. A long rod and a short rod are provided in the hollow tubular body. The hollow tubular body is formed with a first through hole and a second through hole respectively corresponding to the long rod and the short rod. A first limiting unit is provided in the first through hole, and a second limiting unit is provided in the second through hole. The first limiting unit enables to slide into a first gap spaced apart between the long rod and the hollow tubular body to limit the swing range of the long rod, and the second limiting unit enables to slide into a second gap spaced apart between the short rod and the hollow tubular body to limit the swing range of the short rod, thereby improving the accuracy of the tripping torque and making the torque wrench easy to calibrate.
Screw driver and complimentary screws
Disclosed screwdrivers may include a rotatable drive shaft having a drive portion disposed at a distal end thereof, and a drive end disposed at a proximal end thereof. Disclosed screwdrivers may include an angled tip portion that is angled with respect to the longitudinal direction, and a mechanism configured to transfer a rotational force applied to the drive portion of the drive shaft through the angled tip portion to the drive end of the drive shaft. Disclosed screwdrivers may include an elastic retaining clip configured to have a bone screw securely attached therein at a clipping force and progressively release the bone screw therein at an extraction force. Disclosed screwdrivers may include at least one spring contacting the elastic retaining clip and the angled tip portion that is configured to facilitate the progressive release of the bone screw.
ARTICULATING TOOL FOR ENDOSCOPIC PLACEMENT OF FASTENERS
Various articulating tools for endoscopic placement of fasteners are disclosed. The tool can comprise a multi-angle articulating screwdriver. The tool can have an elongate shaft with an articulating driver head at a distal end. The tool can rotate the articulating driver head to drive fasteners, such as screws, to a surgical site. The articulating driver head can articulate with respect to a longitudinal axis of the elongate shaft to enable the fastener to be driven at various angle. The tool can be coupled to a powered handpiece power and can transmit torque from the handpiece to the driver head.
COMPLIANT ORTHOPEDIC DRIVER
Embodiments of a compliant orthopedic driver are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, compliant orthopedic driver includes a body extending from a proximal end to a distal end along a driver axis; a driver tip disposed at the distal end of the body, wherein the body includes at least one compliant portion configured to allow the driver flex about at least two axes transverse to the driver axis.
Multifunctional torque wrench
A multifunctional torque wrench includes a main body, an operation member, and an indication device. The main body has a driving portion, a combination portion, and a twisting portion. The driving portion pivotally drives a fastener to rotate about an axis passing through the main body. The operation member is switchable between a first position and a second position with respect to the main body. The extension portion extends along a second axis. When the operation member is at the first position, the second axis is vertical to the first axis, allowing a user to turn the main body to generate the torque for driving a fastener. The indication device is disposed between the main body and the operation member for displaying the torque value. When the operation member is at the second position, the second axis is parallel to the first axis for storage.
INSERTION TOOL
A tool for inserting into a cavity is provided. The tool includes a plurality of segments moveably coupled to one another, each segment moveable relative to an adjacent segment between a bent position and a coupled position, the plurality of segments including a first segment, the first segment including: a core formed of a first material; and a shell formed of a second material and comprising or defining a guide feature, a drive feature, a line guide, or a combination thereof; wherein the first material defines a greater stiffness than the second material.
Prying tool with width changeable prying end
A prying tool includes a prying end with a first prying member and a second prying member pivotally engaged with a main body of the prying tool. The first and the second prying members are pivotal toward and away from each other. The first prying member has a first claw and the second prying member has a second claw respectively. The first and the second prying members are pivotal between a first configuration in which the first and the second claws are adjacent to each other and a second configuration in which the first and the second claws are away from each other.
