An angle type power wrench includes a housing, a motor, an output shaft and an angle drive connecting the motor to the output shaft. The angle drive includes a drive pinion provided with a forward gear head, and a bevel gear provided on the output shaft and engaged by the drive pinion gear head. The drive pinion is surrounded by a bearing support sleeve supporting a forward drive pinion bearing and a rear drive pinion bearing axially spaced from the forward drive pinion bearing. The forward drive pinion bearing includes an inner ball race at a forward end of the drive pinion at or very close to the gear head, and an outer ball race at a forward end of the bearing support sleeve wherein the bearing support sleeve is connected to the housing via an adjustment connection adapted to enabling adjustment of an axial position of the drive pinion.

Screw driver system

A screw driver system includes a screw driving bit and a guide clamp. The screw driving bit includes a unitary body having a first end and a second end with a longitudinal axis defined therebetween and an outer surface having a cylindrical portion between the first and second ends. The screw driving bit includes a first circumferential groove and a second circumferential groove that are affixed in coaxially positioned arrangement about the longitudinal axis on the outer surface of the cylindrical portion each having a bottom surface. The bottom surface of the first circumferential groove defines a first outer diameter that is larger than a second outer diameter defined by the second circumferential groove. The guide clamp includes a jaw for holding the screw driving bit. When engaged with the first circumferential groove, the guide clamp prevents rotation of the screw driving bit. When engaged with the second circumferential groove, the guide clamp does not prevent rotation of the screw driving bit.

FLEX JOINT LOCK BUTTON

A button lock that selectively retains the angle of an object relative to a handle. The button lock is rotatable between an engaged position, where the angle is retained, and a disengaged position, where the object is disengaged from the handle and can pivotally move about the handle to change the angle. In the engaged position, button teeth on the button engage with handle teeth on the handle. In the disengaged position, the button teeth disengage the handle teeth to space the button from the handle and therefore allow free movement of the handle about the button. The button therefore quickly and easily retains the angle between the object and the handle.
