Fastening tool
A fastening tool includes: a bit holding portion which detachably holds a driver bit and is configured to rotate in a circumferential direction of the driver bit and move in an axial direction of the driver bit; a motor configured to perform at least one of rotation of the bit holding portion and movement of the bit holding portion along the axial direction; and a control unit configured to control a position of the bit holding portion along the axial direction by a rotation amount of the motor. The control unit is configured to stop rotation of the motor based on a load applied to the motor rotated in one direction of moving the bit holding portion in a direction approaching a fastening target.

Fastener installation systems and adapters
Fastener installation systems, devices and methods for driving fasteners, including fasteners, into a surface are disclosed. The fastener installation systems include an adapter operable to engage a chuck on a power tool on a first end and a fastener delivery attachment on an opposing end.
AUTOFEED SCREWDRIVER ATTACHMENT WITH FASTENER ADVANCE STOPPER
A stopper for an autofeed screwdriver attachment designed for mounting to a manual-feed screw gun that prevents overshooting when advancing a collated strip of fasteners during operation. The attachment has a nosepiece that protrudes from the front end, and this nosepiece is also used as a guide to drive fasteners into a workpiece. The nosepiece is depressed as the fastener is driven, and automatically extends when released from the workpiece. As the nosepiece extends, it rotates a pair of sprockets, which advances the collated fastener strip. This sequence is referred to as an index on return. The stopper contacts one of the sprockets to prevent it from further rotation, thus preventing any overshooting of the collated fastener strip. When the nosepiece is depressed again, the stopper releases contact with one of the sprockets.

The control unit is configured to execute an initialization operation of setting a standby position of the bit holding portion along the axial direction, and control a position of the bit holding portion along the axial direction from the standby position by the number of rotations of the motor.
ROTATING T-CLIP INSTALLATION TOOLS AND METHODS OF USE
A clip strip installation system comprising an adjustable base with a removably attaching tool body. The tool body has mechanisms for receiving and feeding through the tool body a clip of collated deck installation clips. One clip at a time is disposed within an installation chamber, where a vertical bit is rotated to drive a fastener of the clip into a support structure, such as a joist. The process of removing the bit causes automatic reloading of the chamber with the next clip in the strip without the need for a motor or power source.
FASTENER DELIVERY TOOLS WITH GUIDE ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS
Elongated fastener driving apparatuses and methods are disclosed. The drivers are operable to quickly and accurately install fasteners from a standing position on, for example, a floor surface.

Device for automatically producing screw connections
A device for automatically producing screw connections, having an articulated arm robot and a screwing unit which can be rotated about an effector axis by an output element of an end element of the articulated arm robot. The screwing unit has a housing, wherein a screwing tool is movably received in the housing along the effector axis between a feed position and at least one screwing position, and wherein a mouthpiece for providing a screw is arranged on the housing.
