Automated Electromagnetic Fastener Delivery System
A fastener delivery system including a feed tube coupled to a delivery location at a second end of the feed tube. The fastener delivery system includes a fastener feed mechanism comprised of a coil wound around a coupler. The coupler is coupled to the feed tube at a first end of the feed tube. The fastener delivery system includes a fastener positioning device configured to receive a fastener. The fastener positioning device is connected to the coupler and operates to inject the fastener into the coupler. A current is applied through the coil to generate a magnetic field. The magnetic field interacts with the fastener and thereby projects the fastener through the feed tube towards the delivery location.
SCREW-PRESENTING DEVICE
A device to present screws of different sizes and characteristics for insertion and fastening in manufacturing processes includes an aligning module and a dispensing module. The aligning module includes a track with two supporting plates. One end of each supporting plate is chamfered and the two supporting plates are spaced to form a first receiving space and a second receiving space for receiving the screws, a screening module functions to brush away screws which do not fall correctly into place on the track. The dispensing module includes a circular member with notches to receive screws transported by the track.
Nut-dispensing tool
The nut-dispensing tool comprises a tube, a retaining block, and a spring loaded gas cylinder. The nut-dispensing tool may dispense a plurality of threaded nuts individually from the tube via a removal slot located in the retaining block. The plurality of threaded nuts may be pushed towards the removal slot by the spring loaded gas cylinder. An individual threaded nut may be removed by inserting a threaded stud member into the individual threaded nut via an end aperture of the retaining block, turning the threaded stud member to engage stud threading into nut threading, and lifting the individual threaded nut through the removal slot using the threaded stud member.

AUTOFEED SCREWDRIVER ATTACHMENT WITH TWIST COLLAR TO ACTIVATE MOVABLE PLATES FOR LATCHING TO SCREW GUN
An autofeed attachment designed for mounting to a manual-feed screwgun that has a recessed channel on the exterior surface near a protruding flange. The autofeed attachment has at least one movable plate that is forced inward by a ramp structure on the interior surface of a rotatable collar. When the collar is rotated in a predetermined direction, the ramp surface acts to force the movable plate toward the interior, until that movable plate comes into contact into the recessed channel on the screwgun. Once that has occurred, the autofeed attachment will now be locked into place into that recessed channel and behind a protruding flange of the screwgun. The movable plate(s) is positioned between two retainer structures that are spaced-apart from one another, and create a gap through with the at least one movable plate can move during the locking, and later unlocking operations, by twisting the rotatable collar.
PICK TOOLING DEVICE FOR AUTOMATED FASTENING
A pick tooling device including a pick tool configured to pick up an object such as fastener, and a driver having a drive bit that is configured to drive the fastener. The pick tool may be a pneumatically-operable gripper tool that is used to pick up the fastener, or the pick tool may be a vacuum-operable pick tool that utilizes suction to pick up the fastener. The drive bit may be axially movable relative to the pick tool to engage and drive the fastener picked up by the pick tool. The device may include a tool changer having one side that is operably connected to the driver, and another side that is operably connected to a fastener-specific pick tool, in which the pick tool can be separated from the driver to permit quick-changeover to a different type of pick tool.
Fastener-installation systems and methods
A fastener-installation system is described that includes a driver to drive a fastener into a structure and a fastener feeder to load the fastener into a loaded position of the driver. The fastener feeder includes a fastener magazine to hold a plurality of fasteners. The fastener-installation system further includes a driver head having a plurality of jaws moveable between a closed position and an expanded position. In the closed position, the plurality of jaws form a piercing tip to pierce material of the structure. Further, the jaws spread apart the material of the structure when the jaws move from the closed position to the expanded position to create a path through the material through which the fastener is driven.

Stackable collar cartridges for swage tools
Systems and methods are provided for assembling a magazine for a swage tool. The method includes selecting a cartridge that comprises a first serpentine channel dimensioned for conveying collars, and further comprises an entrance and an exit of the first serpentine channel. The method also includes disposing the cartridge at a swage tool.
Successive screw tightening machine and screw rope for use therewith
A screw rope is configured to hold fixed portions of threaded parts of respective screws so as to be obliquely disposed at predetermined parallel intervals and at a predetermined inclination angle by a belt-shaped member which runs in a length direction and binding strips which are provided on the rear surface side of the belt-shaped member at predetermined intervals, to continuously form a guide groove on the front surface side of the belt-shaped member along a length direction thereof, to dispose many upper recessed parts at a position above the guide groove in a scattered state and over the entire length on the front surface side of the belt-shaped member and to dispose many lower recessed parts at a position under the guide groove in the scattered state and over the entire length.
