ELECTRIC POWER TOOL
In a tightening tool for tightening a nut to a shear bolt, e.g., a shear wrench by which a chip is cut and a predetermined torque for tightening the nut is obtained, the handling property of the tool can be improved while readily available and commonly used versatile 18V batteries are used as a power source to obtain a high output. Two 18V batteries are attached side-by-side on a battery attaching part as the power source. The two 18V batteries are electrically connected in series to output 36V power source. The battery attaching part is provided so as to straddle a lower portion of the motor unit and a lower portion of the handle unit, such that a center of gravity can be lowered, and stability of the handling property of the tool can be improved.
BIDIRECTIONAL RAMPED DISPOSABLE TORQUE LIMITING DEVICE
A bidirectional torque limiting driver with a handle, internal wall, movable head and a tool mounted thereon, with flexible torque limiting flex ramp(s) formed on said internal wall, whereby said ramps move under sufficient force to impart a predetermined torque to a tip is disclosed.
System And Method For Nut Swaging Verification
An apparatus comprises an outer shell, a gauge ring, and a spring. The gauge ring is configured to rotate to a first position as a nut passes through an opening of the outer shell and contacts a bottom surface of the gauge ring, the first position permitting the nut to pass through the gauge ring and into a socket by aligning one or more gauge ring lobe slits with one or more outer shell lobe slits and one or more deformable lobes of the nut. The spring is configured to rotate the gauge ring to the second position after the nut passes through the gauge ring and into the socket, the second position preventing the nut from exiting the socket by preventing alignment of the one or more gauge ring lobe slits with the one or more outer shell lobe slits.
TOOL DEVICE, IN PARTICULAR HAND-HELD TOOL DEVICE, FEATURING TORQUE LIMITATION
The invention is based on a tool device, in particular hand-held tool device, for use in a surgical method, comprising a tool receptacle, an operating unit, a torque limitation unit, a torque transmission unit and a magazine unit. The torque limitation unit is arranged between the operating unit and the tool receptacle and comprises a plurality of torque limitation elements which are provided to be destroyed when a given torque is exceeded. The magazine unit is provided to exert a thrust force onto the torque limitation elements for introducing them one by one into the torque transmission unit, and the torque limitation unit is provided to respectively receive a torque limitation element and to destroy it when the given torque is exceeded, wherein the torque limitation elements are arranged on a rotary working axle of the tool receptacle.
Fastening tool and method of producing fastened product
A fastening tool for fastening a nut to a bolt includes a pipe and a coupling member. The nut breaks at specified torque. The pipe has a socket wrench, a detachable structure and a suction port. The detachable structure is for attaching to and detaching from a rotor of a rotational drive device. The suction port is for suctioning a piece of the nut broken by the specified torque. The coupling member has a flow path, a first coupling portion and a second coupling portion. The flow path is for suctioning the piece of the nut from the suction port. The piece of the nut is suctioned from the suction port with an ejector. The first coupling portion couples the coupling member to a casing of the rotational drive device. The second coupling portion couples the coupling member to a duct of the ejector.
TORQUE WRENCH
A torque wrench for connecting a first element to a second element includes a shaft extending between a first end and a second end. The torque wrench includes a first tightening socket at the first end. The first tightening socket includes a first spanner pocket configured to receive the first element to tighten the first element to the second element when the torque wrench is rotated in a tightening direction. The first tightening socket is connected to the first end of the shaft by a first weakened section configured to yield at a predetermined peak torque. The torque wrench includes a loosening socket separate from the first tightening socket. The loosening socket includes a loosening spanner pocket configured to receive the first element to loosen the first element from the second element when the torque wrench is rotated in a loosening direction.
Hand-Held Power Tool
A hand-held power tool has a housing, a drive motor including a drive shaft, a transmission drivable by the drive shaft, and a tool holder for holding an insertion tool, which is drivable by the transmission. The transmission includes a transmission housing, a transmission cover, and a fixed ring gear. The transmission cover at least partially closes the transmission housing. The fixed ring gear is located such that the fixed ring gear has a breakaway torque.
System for tightening an orthopedic set screw at two different torque levels
An orthopedic implant kit for tightening a set screw to a head of a pedicle screw for holding a spinal rod to the pedicle screw, the kit including a screw extender for holding the head of the pedicle screw, a set screw driver for engaging with the set screw to threadably tighten the set screw to the head of the pedicle screw, a first torque limiting mechanism for limiting a torque between the set screw driver and the screw extender to a first torque value or a first torque indication mechanism for indicating that the first torque has been reached, and a second torque limiting mechanism for limiting a torque between the set screw driver and the screw extender to a second torque value, the second torque value being higher than the first torque value.
