Wrench device, and a method of automatically adjusting torque for a fastener of a piece of equipment

A wrench device includes a data receiving component configured to receive, from a transceiver associated with a piece of equipment, information related to a fastener included in the piece of equipment, and a torque value corresponding to the fastener. The wrench device further includes an image sensor configured to capture an image of the fastener, a processor, and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The memory stores processor-executable instructions, which, on execution, cause the processor to receive the image of the fastener from the image sensor, receive the information related to the fastener from the data receiving component, identify the fastener by correlating the received image with the information related to the fastener, extract the torque value corresponding to the fastener based on the information upon identification of the fastener, and adjust a torque of the fastener based on the extracted torque value.

An electronic torque wrench (10) comprises a body with an axial extension along a longitudinal axis (11), a front end provided with a coupling (14) intended to engage the wrench on a joint to be tightened by manual rotation around a rotation axis (15) which is transverse to the longitudinal axis (11), and a handle (13) along the body for operating the wrench. A sensor (16) is intended to detect a torque applied with the wrench to the coupling (14) and comprises two flex sensor elements (16a and 16b) which are arranged spaced apart along the longitudinal axis (11). An electronic control circuit (17) is connected to the sensor (16) for receiving signals from it and is intended to implement a method which comprises the steps: calculating, depending on flexing values detected by the two sensor elements (16a and 16b), the point P along the longitudinal axis (11) which is used for applying the manual force of rotation of the wrench about the rotation axis (15); comparing the position of the point P with admissible predefined positions along the longitudinal axis (11); and emitting an error signal if the position of the point P does not correspond to these admissible positions.

CLAMPING TOOL WITH DISPLAY DEVICE FOR TIGHTENING CONDITIONS

Clamping tool provided of a tightening conditions display device comprising a body (11), containing control circuits and a processing electronic unit having at one end a handle (12) for gripping by an operator making the clamping, and on the other end an arm (13). Said arm comprises a seat (16) wherein can be alternatively pluggable a plurality of inserts suitable for engaging the tool with a corresponding type and/or dimension of a mechanical member on which the tool is destined to operate to carry out a clamping operation. Sensor means are provided on said arm suitable for detecting tightening conditions exerted on said mechanical member and said display device is controlled by said electronic processing unit and comprises an annular support (2) connected to the tool, to which a plurality of lighting groups (3) are associated, provided along a circle arch long the ring and each one comprising at least two lighting points (4), the groups (3) being substantially equidistant each other along the ring, said points being destined to lighten when the clamping is finished.

A multipurpose and universal wrench for tightening and loosening a fastener, such as a lug nut. The wrench or lug nut wrench can be adapted to lug nuts of varied sizes and shapes. The wrench includes four arms arranged in a cross shape, and three arms are functional while the fourth arm has a torque adjusting handle. Sockets can be interchangeably coupled to the three functional arms. Moreover, the arms are telescoping allowing changing the effective length of the arms. The two opposite functional arms can pivot for collapsing the wrench for storage.

Torque tool

A setting torque tool to tighten a screw or a similar fastener to a target torque is disclosed. The torque tool comprises a main body with a housing and a drive shaft, which is firmly attached to the housing to transfer a torque. The drive shaft has a connection area, to which a drive can be connected. An adapter for an operating tool rotates together with the housing and the drive shaft to transfer the torque, Sensor measure and evaluate the torque transferred. A release mechanism, which is arranged in the housing, releases the torque tool upon reaching a target torque.

Tool torque limiter

A torque limiter can include a housing and a shaft. The housing can include a housing magnet enclosed within the housing. The shaft can be at least partially surrounded by the housing and can be rotatable within the housing. The shaft can include a shaft magnet integrated with the shaft to magnetically couple with the housing magnet to transmit a torque between the housing and the shaft and configured to uncouple from the housing magnet allowing the shaft to rotate within the housing when a threshold torque is reached.

Dustproof structure of hand tool
11583994 · 2023-02-21 · ·

A dustproof structure of a hand tool includes a tool body and a dustproof element. The tool body has a shank. A predetermined portion of the shank is concavely provided with a through hole. The dustproof element is flexible, is provided at the through hole of the shank, and can be opened and closed. The dustproof element closes the through hole when not subjected to an applied force and is elastically deformed to render the through hole into an open state when subjected to the applied force. In normal conditions, therefore, the dustproof element can block foreign matter from entering the through hole. When it is desired to perform a lubricating or adjusting operation on a component in the through hole of the hand tool, the operation can be carried out after directly applying a force to, and thus deforming, the dustproof portion, without having the dustproof element removed.

TORQUE TOOL USING COLORS FOR IDENTIFICATION
20220355448 · 2022-11-10 ·

A torque tool includes multiple bits, a handle, a pointer and a scale ring. Each of the bits includes a colored area. In use, the handle is connected to a selected one of the bits. The handle is operable to set multiple maximum values of torque transferable to the bit from the handle corresponding to the colored areas of the bits. The pointer is formed on the handle. The scale ring includes multiple colored areas corresponding to the colored areas of the bits. The scale ring is rotated around the handle as the handle is operated to set the maximum values of torque, thereby aligning the pointer with one of the colored areas of the scale ring corresponding to the colored area of a selected one of the bits.
