DYNAMIC OFF-AXIS TORQUE WRENCH COMPENSATION
A torque wrench is provided that extends along a longitudinal axis and includes a head, a body, and a torque adjustment assembly. The head is shaped and adapted to engage at least one of a fastener or a torque-application adaptor aligned with a torque axis. The body includes a handle and a click-pivot assembly. The click-pivot assembly includes first and second members coupled by a link, and is configured to indicate application of a predetermined amount of torque via the handle. The head is pivotally coupled to the body via the torque adjustment assembly. A change in an angle between the torque axis and the longitudinal axis dynamically adjusts an amount of torque provided by the head by a predetermined amount relative to the predetermined amount of torque applied via the handle.
FOLDABLE TORQUE TOOL
A foldable torque tool is provided, including a handle, a driving member and a blocking structure. The driving member is rotatably disposed on the handle. The blocking structure has a first blocking unit and a second blocking unit. The first blocking unit is disposed on the handle. The second blocking unit is disposed on the driving member. When the driving member is in an unfolded position, the first blocking unit is blocked with the second blocking unit, and then the driving member is non-rotatable to a folded position.
T handle torque wrench with slip function
Wrenches, apparatus, devices and methods of using a T handle with a torque wrench with adjustable torque setting controls having an automated slip function for applications such as for motorcycles, automotive, machinery and the like. The wrench allows for a user to pull up a lock feature which allows the user to selectively set a torque value by rotating the handle. Once a torque setting is made, the lock is pushed down and the wrench can be used to tighten fasteners, such as bolts, nuts, and the like. While tightening, the fastener, the wrench goes into a slip function when the setting has been reached, so that the fasteners, cannot be stripped.
Torque limiting device and a load carrier foot comprising a torque limiting device
A torque limiting device (30) connectable to a load carrier, such as a load carrier foot (10), and adapted for indicating a torque imparted by a user, the torque limiting device (30) comprising a torque limiter (50), a connection member (31) adapted to be connected to the load carrier foot (10) and a head portion (40) arranged on the connection member (31), the head portion (40) comprising a first and a second member (41, 42). The disclosure also relates to a load carrier foot (10) comprising the torque limiting device (30). The torque limiting device (30) is specifically adapted to be user friendly and has a space saving configuration.
Torque Connector Structure
A torque connector structure includes a first body, a second body assembled with the first body, a first drive member assembled with the first body, a second drive member received in the first body and having a plurality of first receiving grooves each having a cylindrical shape, a third drive member received in the first body and the second body, a fourth drive member mounted on the third drive member and having a plurality of second receiving grooves, an elastic member biased between the first drive member and the second drive member, and a plurality of pins received between the first receiving grooves and the second receiving grooves. The second drive member and the first drive member are driven simultaneously.
ELECTRONIC TORQUE WRENCH WITH OBSTACLE DETECTION
An electronic torque wrench (10) comprises a body with an axial extension along a longitudinal axis; a front end provided with a coupling (14) intended to engage the wrench on a joint to be tightened by manual rotation around a rotation axis (15) which is transverse to the longitudinal axis (11); a handle (13) along the body for operating the wrench; and a sensor (16) for detecting a torque applied with the wrench to the coupling (14) and comprising two flex sensor elements (16a and 16b) which are arranged spaced apart along the longitudinal axis (11). An electronic control circuit (17) is connected to the sensor (16) for receiving signals from it and applying a method which comprises the steps of calculating, depending on the flexing values detected by the two sensor elements (16a and 16b), whether the flexing value detected by the sensor element closest to the front end is less than the flexing value detected by the sensor element farthest from the end front; and, if so, emitting an error signal.
Angle wrench and rotation angle-measuring device
An angle wrench has a simple structure and is capable of accurately measuring rotation angle. The angle wrench is used for tightening an object to be tightened by means of the rotation angle method, and includes a handle having a grip; a head section having a tightening head for tightening the object to be tightened, and a tail section that extends from the tightening head pivotally supported with respect to the handle via a head pin; torque-detecting mechanisms for detecting when the torque for tightening the object being tightened reaches the specified torque; and a rotation angle-measuring section for measuring the rotation angle of the angle wrench in a tightening action, on the basis of the angular velocity of the angle wrench around the axis of the object being tightened, after the torque-detecting mechanism has detected that the specified torque has been reached.
Control device and work management system using same
A control device is provided with a communication unit and a processing unit. The communication unit makes communication with a tool that is used for the work of fastening a fastener (for example, a screw) and with an image pickup unit for capturing an image of the work site where the work is being performed. The processing unit executes a determination process of determining whether or not the work is being performed normally on the basis of the fastening torque applied to the fastener by the tool and the image captured by the image pickup unit.
