Hydraulic crimper tool
A power tool system includes a hydraulic power tool. The hydraulic power tool includes a hydraulic drive, a sensor, and a first electronic processor. The sensor is configured to detect an operational parameter of the hydraulic drive during an operation by the hydraulic drive. The first electronic processor is configured to store a plurality of data points based on the operational parameter detected during the operation and send the plurality of data points to an external device. The external device includes a display screen and a second electronic processor configured to receive the plurality of data points from the hydraulic power tool, control the display screen to display an expected data point for the operational parameter for the operation, and control the display screen to display an actual data curve based on the plurality of data points, the actual data curve overlaid on the expected data point.
Control system and apparatus for power wrench
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a control system including: a power wrench; and a controller operatively connected to the power wrench, wherein the controller is configured to perform actions including: directing an operative head of the power wrench to turn in response to a pressure-angle derivative of the operative head being below a predetermined threshold, defining an origin at an angular position of the operative head where the pressure-angle derivative of the operative head exceeds the predetermined threshold, directing the operative head to turn by an angular step in response to: the pressure-angle derivative of the operative head exceeding the predetermined threshold, and an angular differential of the operative head being less than a target value; and directing the operative head to cease turning in response to the angular differential of the operative head being approximately equal to or greater than the target value.

A POWER CONTROL DEVICE FOR A PNEUMATIC IMPULSE WRENCH
A pneumatic impulse wrench includes a motor, a housing with a pressure air inlet passage, an exhaust air outlet passage, and an air flow control valve provided in the exhaust air outlet passage and including a valve element shiftable between an exhaust air flow restricting position and an exhaust air flow non-restricting position. A rigid contact member is provided to positively define the exhaust air flow restricting position of the valve element, and a bypass passage of a well-defined flow area is provided to let through a limited exhaust air flow as the valve element occupies the flow restricting position in engagement with the contact member.
Torsion-detecting pneumatic impact tool
A torsion-detecting pneumatic impact tool is provided. A hammering set having at least one hammering block and a rotating portion which is connected with each hammering block. A transmission shaft penetrates through each the hammering block. A torsion detecting unit includes a marking piece which has a plurality of blocks, at least two sensors which detect the marking piece and an processing unit which is electrically connected with each the sensor. The hammering set, the marking piece, and the rotating assembly rotating synchronously. When each the hammering block swing strikes the transmission shaft in a direction, the hammering set and the marking piece rotate reversely slightly because of the counterforce of swing strike. When the marking piece rotates reversely, the processing unit receives a signal of a degree of rotation of the blocks detected by the at least two sensors and computes a torsion value.
PROGRAMMABLE TOOL ORIENTATION BASED, ASSEMBLY TIGHTENING CONTROL
In an embodiment herein, a tool is described. The tool comprises an inclinometer configured to determine a first inclination of the tool; and transmit a first indicator to a controller in response to determining the first inclination of the tool. The tool further comprises a controller interface configured to receive a first program from the controller in response to transmitting the first indicator. The tool further comprises a tool head configured to tighten a first fastener based, at least in part, on the first program.
Torque wrench and reaction arm assembly
A torque wrench assembly comprises a torque wrench and a reaction arm and locking means for locking together the torque wrench and the reaction arm. The locking means comprises a connection member located on the torque wrench; an opening on the reaction arm for receipt of the connection member of the torque wrench; a locking member slidably mounted in a channel on the reaction arm, the locking member including an aperture sized to allow the connection member to pass therethrough; and biasing means arranged to bias the locking member into a position wherein the aperture is partially aligned with the opening. The connection member has an insertion end for insertion into the opening of the reaction arm, and immediately adjacent the insertion end is a recess. The recess is shaped to receive a part of the locking member.
