The tool includes a driving unit to be activated with power supplied from a power source. The image capturing unit is provided for the tool and generates a captured image. The orientation detection unit is provided for the tool and detects an orientation of the tool. The processing unit performs processing based on the captured image and the orientation.
ELECTRIC TOOL ADAPTED TO PERFORM TIGHTENING OPERATIONS WHERE TORQUE IS DELIVERED IN PULSES
An electric tool adapted to perform tightening operations where torque is delivered in pulses to tighten a screw joint. The electric tool including an electric motor drivingly connected to an output shaft. A processor and a memory storing software instructions that, when executed by the processor cause the electrical tool, retrieve a first power level parameter p1 indicating a first power level to be used for torque pulses up to a torque threshold. And retrieve a second power level parameter p2 indicating a second power level to be used for torque pulses above the torque threshold. Then control the speed of the electric motor, so that the electric tool provide torque pulses on the output shaft with the first power level p1 until the torque threshold is reached. And control the speed of the electric motor, so that the electric tool provide torque pulses on the output shaft with the second power level p2.
Portable electrical tool equipped with a rotary transformer provided with coil having plasto-ferrite support
An electromechanical tool including a casing, a shaft driving a tip in rotation and a rotary transformer. The rotating shaft integrates an electronic circuit configured to measure a physical parameter of the shaft, and the rotary transformer includes a stator fixedly attached to the casing and a rotor affixed to the rotating shaft. The stator integrates a first coil and a first support of this first coil, and the rotor integrates a second coil and a second support of this second coil. The supports are made out of plasto-ferrite material.

ADAPTIVE IMPACT BLOW DETECTION
A power tool and method of detecting impacts of a power tool that includes a motor driving a hammer to impact an anvil. A motor control unit is configured to determine a motor characteristic indicative of a speed of the motor. When the motor characteristic indicates that the speed of the motor is below a speed threshold, the motor control unit employs an acceleration-based technique to detect a first impact based on a change in motor acceleration and generate a first impact indication in response to detecting the first impact. When the motor characteristic indicates that the speed is above the speed threshold, the motor control unit employs a time-based technique to detect a second impact based on an elapsed time and generates a second impact indication in response to detecting the second impact.

Power tool including an output position sensor
A power tool including a motor and an impact mechanism. The impact mechanism is coupled to the motor and includes a hammer driven by the motor, and an anvil positioned at a nose of the power tool, and configured to receive an impact from the hammer. The power tool also includes a sensor assembly positioned at the nose of the power tool, and an electronic processor. The sensor assembly includes an output position sensor configured to generate an output signal indicative of a position of the hammer or the anvil. The electronic processor is coupled to the output position sensor and to the motor, and is configured to operate the motor based on the output signal from the output position sensor.
