An oil filter wrench. The oil filter wrench includes a housing and an engagement lever. The head portion of the engagement lever has an aperture sized to receive an oil filter therethrough and may have protrusions adapted to engage the oil filter. The engagement lever is rotatable around the center of the aperture and in relation to the housing such that the handle portion of the engagement lever is movable from a first position distal to the handle of the housing to a second position proximate to the housing. The handles of the engagement lever and the housing may be gripped by one hand, allowing for ease of operation of the oil filter wrench.

An oil filter wrench includes a handle, a rotation knob, a wrench unit, and a oneway control member. The wrench unit includes a threaded rod, an adjusting member, a restriction piece, a clamping member, two screw members, a support member, and a fixed member. The oneway control member is pivotally mounted in the fixed member. Thus, the clamping member and the oneway control member clamp and drive the oil filter to rotate in a oneway manner only.

Fluid filter installation tool

An installation tool for one or more components of a fluid filter includes a first body portion configured to engage a filter socket to advance the tool and filter components into the socket, and a second body portion configured to apply a direct force to one or more filter components. The first and second body portions can rotationally move relative to each other, such that the filter components may not grind against the socket or other filter components, which can, among other things, reduce or eliminate the creation of foreign object debris and/or minimize the amount of human force required to install the filter components.

FILTER TOOL AND RELATED METHODS

A filter tool and method of removing a filter includes a socket head and a plurality of teeth. The socket head has a proximal end portion, a distal end portion, and an outer wall at least partially surrounding a longitudinal axis and defining a hollow configured to receive at least a portion of a housing of the filter. The plurality of teeth are configured to grip the housing of the filter and further define the hollow. The plurality of teeth are angularly positioned about the longitudinal axis and extend radially inward from the outer wall toward the longitudinal axis and further extend longitudinally toward the proximal end portion. The hollow thus narrows toward the proximal end portion for rotatably gripping the housing of the filter received therein and removing the filter from a filter mount.

An improved funnel includes an inner liner formed from a hydrophobic material, wherein oil from an automobile can contact and pass through said funnel without leaving any oil residue upon said inner liner, such that the funnel can be used for a different type of liquid immediately thereafter without cleaning. The improved funnel may also include a tool cut-out formed through its top rim and a portion of its side wall to allow an oil bolt or oil filter wrench to pass therethrough and be used when the improved funnel is placed adjacent to an automobile oil discharge aperture. The improved funnel may also include magnets to releasably hold the improved funnel to the automobile when in use.

Oil filter removal tool

An oil filter removal tool used for removing seized filters from internal combustion engines. Additionally, the oil filer removal tool is designed to provide various method of applying a torque to an oil filter. To achieve this the tool has a gripper mechanism, a tool engagement mechanism, an annular clamp, and a plurality of protective covers. The gripper mechanism is able to grasp onto the oil filter. Additionally, the tool engagement mechanism is permanently integrated onto the gripper mechanism. This enables the user to apply a higher torque to the oil filter housing, thus removing even seized filters without damaging the oil filter itself. Similarly, the plurality of protective covers is positioned between the gripper mechanism and the oil filter to provide an additional layer of protection, if the user chooses to install the oil filter removal tool onto the new filter for the next oil change.

A fluid drainage tool and method for utilizing the same is disclosed. The fluid drainage tool includes one or more pairs of vacuum members and a mechanical clamping mechanism. The mechanical clamping mechanism is coupled to the one or more pairs of vacuum members and is adapted to move the one or more pairs of vacuum members between an unclamped configuration and a clamped configuration. In the unclamped configuration, a gap formed by each of the one or more pairs of the vacuum members is larger than an original outer diameter of a pliable tube. In the clamped configuration, the gap is smaller than the original outer diameter of the pliable tube. In the clamped configuration, the one or more pairs of vacuum members compresses the pliable tube and generates a suction force within the pliable tube when translated along the pliable tube.
